Brake problem with a 2001 Ford Winstar?

I have a 2001 Ford Winstar that keeps having "squealing" brakes after it rains. The noise could be described as more of a high-pitched ringing than a squeaking sound. There's no sound of grinding. The front rotors, pads, and calipers were all replaced in April, this problem started occurring about 2 weeks ago. I only hear a squeaking noise when I'm pressing gently on the brakes at a slow speed, such as pulling into a parking spot. If I press harder the noise stops. When the noise is occurring, the car simply does not stop as well. When that happens, the brake light comes on and the ABS system kicks in. I checked my brake fluid, it was just barely above the "minimum" line so I topped it off with manual-recommended DOT 3, did not seem to have an effect. Whenever it rains, the problem is consistent with the car for 24-36 hours, then the brakes are fully functional until it rains again. I'm thinking maybe I need a brake flush but I'm having a hard time finding any real information on it, any idea what it could be?

Auto choke for a 68 Ford galaxie?

I'm looking at an ad for this car and he says it needs an auto choke. How much would that cost? The ad doesn't say what type of engine it is or anything. Also, if it costs too much for me to fix right away, what would be the consequences of driving without it for a month or two? Is it still driveable?

Thanks!

Added (1). Also, does anyone have any experience with replacing the convertible, either DIY or professionally done? How hard is it to do yourself, or is it more worth it to just take it to an upholsterer's?

1964 Ford Thunderbird Engine?

This isn't a running engine due to cut spark plug wires. The lady says that it has good compression and turns freely. The wires were cut due to a renter that was mad. It looks very clean and good, but id rather ask around…1964 Ford Thunderbird Engine - 1

Buying Nonrunning 1964 ford?

I have been wanting to buy a 1965 Ford Thunderbird, but I'm on a budget of $2000 for it. I found one that looks ok on the out and inside, but the owner says that a man that was renting from them and got mad and cut the spark plug wires. I think this seems pretty fishy to me… Hbu?

Why is my fuel economy so bad?

I have a 2000 ford falcon forte petrol engine, and it's fuel is still terrible, I've had a fuel service done, a fuel treatment done, even an transmission service done. The transmission service did a hell of a difference, but it's still not fixed. The diagnostic scan came up empty, ruling out any electrical problem. What can it be?

I have a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria and occasionally it will not crank and will not start?

Occasionally, my 1998 Ford Crown Vic with a 4.6 liter will not crank and will not start. It only does it when it is hot outside & I have been running the car a while. We have replaced the starter, replaced the battery, replaced the ignition switch and the key. We have also tightened the set screws in the steering column that go to the gear selection lever. When it malfunctions, car will get power to the dash lights and stereo etc. But it will not start. Does not make a noise; not even a click. After it cools down, it will start again. Really odd. Suggestions on where to look?

Can any car be converted to AWD or 4x4?

Thank you for reading and helping me out on this. So here's the info… I'm looking to buy an older car. Something like a Ford Falcon wagon. I love the looks of them but I do a lot of camping. I'd like to convert this to AWD or 4x4 option. I won't be offroading but I want the assurance of not getting stuck or lessening the chances. So that's my question, can an older car be converted to an AWD or 4x4 vehicle and if so where is a good shop or website to look into?
