Why does my car have an aux button but no aux jack?

I have a 2007 ford focus and I have an aux button in my car but I don't see an aux jack anywhere, why is that? Or is it hiding somewhere?

Search carefully in the center console compartment. It's usually hidden in there. If it's not in your car, you will need to install it. You will need an AUX adapter that is compatible with your vehicle.

I probably is for in "in dash" aux device.

It could be hiding, keep looking for the aux jack, and it could be not there, many cars have extra buttons

In a Ford, it's usually in the center console storage compartment if it's equipped. However, they use the same head unit in vehicles with and without the auxiliary jack, so it may not be equipped.

It is in the rear of the unit

There's no aux jack in your Ford Focus, the reason if the button is because that same Ford Radio was used in many For vehicles from 2005 to 2013, the aux in a Mustang is for Satellite radio. In the Expedition is for the rear DVD,
in your case it don't do anything.
the good news is that you can add the auxiliary input interface and jack to your vehicle
it will work great and you will have perfect clear digital sound from your portable device

  • Why Ford uniform rental end up inside trunk of Crown Victoria behind the jack up tools? Why would someone put it and hide them inside my trunk? It's blue one piece clothes which only mechanics wear. Since I brought car from old man years ago, my tire got flat so I went in trunk and go behind the wall to get tools to jack car up and uniform with tiny blanket end up in there. Do they put this in every Crown Victoria when assembling in factory? You won't find it because it was hidden behind tools which you use to change the tire.
