Ford Focus: Ideal for a Small Family

When it comes to Ford’s compact cars, one can’t help remembering about the Ford Focus. As of the 1st half of 2012, this automobile reached the highest sales level having surpassed the Toyota Corolla. Moreover, the Ford Focus name entered into history as the British magazine CAR reserved a position for it on the list of the 50 greatest automobiles manufactured during past 50 years.

The latest 3d-generation Ford Focus models were unveiled to public during 2010-2012 in the following body styles: a four-door sedan, a five-door hatchback, and a five-door estate (the latter available only in Europe, and New Zealand).

The latest Ford Focus cabin has undergone redesign changes. The body is manufactured using improved materials. New infotainment technologies have been introduced for a driver’s pleasure.

All Ford Focus models are equipped either with one of the modifications of a new direct injection I4 engine or with Duratorq engine. Engine volume ranges from 1.0 L to 2.0 L. A Ford Focus driver can use either a five-speed manual or six-speed manual B6 transmission or can rely on six-speed semi-automatic transmission or six-speed automatic transmission.
