2009 Ford Focus SE 5 Speed Transmission questions?

I have a 2009 Ford Focus SE 5 spd that needs the clutch, flywheel, slave cyl… All that mess replaced… When shopping around for flywheels I have been given an option. 1) Replace the current Dual Mass Flywheel with the same or 2) Use a conversion kit and have a Solid Mass Flywheel installed. The solid flywheel option is around $600 less expensive. I now understand the purpose of a DMF is to decrease vibration from the engine to the transmission. My question is: By converting to a SMF will I be taking any chances in possibly damaging my transmission/gear box? This is my main concern.

Added (1). It really says something when people focus on Obama rather than all the presidents that had a upwards of a 40% divide… Obama (and now Trump) are just the PEAK, the trend is upwards. Will stalling in fourth gear while parked cause any damage?

Relatively new to driving a manual, though i've felt very comfortable and that level of confidence got caused me to stall in fourth. To briefly explain what happened, I started the engine while parked and casually attempted to flip the stick down from 1st gear to neutral but accidentally put it in fourth unknowingly. I normally just wait in my car while in neutral and let the car warm up, but when I took my foot off the clutch since it was in fourth it immediately stalled but it gave an "engine fault" notification. I waited a bit and everything seemed normal but when i got to around 3k rpms it started acting weird, i believe it just hovered around 3k RPMs even if I put on more gas, but I immediately put it into 2nd gear and then everything seemed normal but i still immediately pulled over " I drove 0.1 miles to be exact". I parked it and shut off the engine, waited a bit and restarted the engine and everything seemed completely normal. I drove home with no problems, though could I have done something harmful? Should i take it to a shop? I'm hoping it just thought that since i was in fourth i was moving and stalled, which would definitely be some sort of engine problem. Thanks for the help, i'm definitely pretty anxious. I'm driving a 2014 ford focus st
