Is it complicated to pull a dead car radio out and drop a replacement one in?
Just a plain jane AM/FM car radio for a 2001 Ford Focus to replace the one that recently gave out.
Added (1). It is compatible with my model vehicle
Unless you purchase the same unit as the original, you will need a wiring adapter. The maker of the replacement unit should offer an adapter.
Watch the video on YouTube on how to replace the radio on a 2001 Ford focus. If it still has the factory radio you can either get one from a local salvage yard for about $75 or you can get one on eBay. They come right out easily you unplug the plugs plug the new plugs in and slide the radio back into the hole.
There should be plenty of those at the salvage yard, the same model as the one that died in your car. Replacing usually is simple for anyone who's done it before. Plug n play. If you want a new one from Walmart or somewhere else cheap, follow directions and get familiar with the car. Radio color code- speaker wires, power and ground, don't forget to plug in the antenna. You'll learn most of what you need to know as you remove the old set.
Bone Easy. If you say try to put a Kenwood in where OEM was, might try to buy an adapter on EBay.
