Should I even be thinking about buying a 2005 Ford F-150 with 261,000 miles?

I have been in desperate need of a vehicle since my truck was stolen earlier last month and have come across, what seems to be a good deal. It is a 2005 Ford F-150 Lariat 4WD that drives great and doesn't seem to have anything wrong with it. But, it does have 261,000 miles on it. The dealer wants $8,980. What do you guys think? Again, I did test drive it and it seemed like a great feeling and sounding truck.

MECHANICS. I NEED ADVICE?

Been car shopping for 04-05 Ford F150… I test drove 3 already… They are all 5,4 liter engines… With 130000 mile range… They all drove good but the only thing that kept me from buying was a LOUD click noise coming from the engines… Like… CLACK CLACK CLACK… But when I test drive… They all drove good… So is this normal… For the engine? I looked online… Some say its normal… Some say its a sensor… I don't know… Any advice will help… Thanks…

What are the best all terrain tires for my 2011 Ford-F150 Platinum?

I'm looking for a good set of All terrain tires. I would like for them to preform well in Mud, Dirt and on streets. I was hoping to get some that make make my truck look cool also. It would also be nice it the humming of the tires was minimal. I if anyone has any ideas please let me know I'm open to all ideas. My tuck does not have a lift but if you think getting the tires would require a lift please let me know and if you know let me know how high the lift should be please also share that information. I have attached a pic of my truck. A final fact is that I'm extremely uneducated not he matter so any information that you could provide concerning this subject is much appreciated.

Added (1). One quick update. I would like to thank Mr. Crown Question mark for his great point. I'm looking for some big tires that I will spend 90% of my time on the street. And 10% on Dirt/Mud. Like is said please add any info that you would like to.

2008 Ford f150 won't even turn over - Battery NOT dead?

Hey so my 2008 F150 ran just fine and then suddenly wouldn't start one day. I popped the clutch to get it started and then the next time I tried it started up no problem. That was two days ago and it hasn't started back up since. Battery has plenty of power, once it's running it runs fine. When I turn the key there's nothing, not even the clicking a starter makes with not enough power. I checked the starter solenoid fuses… No luck. Any ideas?
