We checked in another truck and our instrument cluster is working how it should be and we have changed the speed/speedometer sensor on the rear of the truck because there isn't one on the transmission on our truck our transmission is like a e40D. So what's the problem of this. Is it the wiring or what

I was wanting to know a sugestion from you guys i have a 1979 ford f150 2dr short bed i currently has a small block 302 (stock)with a c6 tranny its very weak for the power i'm looking for. What engine do you guys sugest me to put in it i'm using the truck for racing doing burnouts and messing with it and this engine ising working for that. I'm low on budget so i'm not looking to stoke it or put a biger cam on it
I have a 2005 Ford F-150 with a 5.4L Triton. It has a leveling kit with 295/70R18. I want something that is going to give me more power while also increasing the mpg.
I took my 2004 ford f150 extended cab mudding… Took it through some deep ruts and bottomed out twice… I got yanked out by a bigger truck and my truck started showing a "TRANS FAULT" message… There's mud caked on under my truck, it is driving okay but I did notice that it is taking a little bit longer to get going and when it starts going, it kicks hard like I juts pressed the gas really hard. Will I need a new transmission?
Wanting to know if wheels will work on truck
I'm choosing between a Chevy silverado 1500, ford f150, 04 dodge ram 1500 hemi (my dads), or a jeep wrangler. I have a 15,000$ budget give or take a few thousand. I'm looking for a car I can take offroad and is good in bad weather and decent mpg. I know I'm not getting over 20 mpg so you don't have to tell me none of them are good on gas. Out of these choices what would be the best first car.
I was putting in a new head unit everything was working. I was putting it into my dash and the wire caps came off two wires that I believe weren't even connected to the head unit, and touched together, it sparked and the radio stopped working completely. I checked the fuse on the radio and the fuse in the fuse panel, both were good. I took the head unit back and got another one, thinking maybe I fried it, new one didn't work either. I replaced the wire harnesses and rewired them and still doesn't work. What else can I do? It doesn't make sense. Any suggestions would help, thanks.
What the title says!
I need to replace intake spacer gaskets and isolator bolts to get rid of the check engine light on my 2001 Ford f150. Can someone point me in the right direction as to what exactly I need to buy? A part number would help!
