What makes my Ford F-150 run rough?

I have a 2009 F-150. It runs like a dream most of the time. But, sometimes, when I'm slowing down to come to a stop, it will run very rough and sound like it is rattling underneath. This only lasts for about a minute or two, then after I come to a complete stop and before I turn off the key, it stops running rough and runs normal again. What could be causing this?

F150 can't open hood with grille guard, solution?

I have a 2007 F150 and just bought a Top Gun brand Grille Guard for it, after I installed it I tried to open my hood and the Grille hits the Grille Guard thanks to Ford's dumb but idea of attaching the grille to the hood. The Grille Guard doesn't have a release so that it leans forward to open the hood does anyone know of a solution so I don't have to push on my grille to pop it loose and get it open?

What's wrong with my truck? - 3

So I own a 1988 Ford F-150 5.0 v8 with a c6 auto tranny. It has been a great truck but its having issues. A few months back It broke down and I had a new timing chain put in as well as new fuel injectors and it solved all issues. Its been maybe six months and now its stalling and sputtering out here and there. It is not constant but it happens almost every time you drive it and usually results in the truck dying and then not starting at all and it has to sit for a while before it will start back up. I have within the past month put new idle air control valve new power steering pump. New fuel pump in tank and new fuel pump on the frame as well as the strainer and filter. Its also had the transmission gone through within the last year. I changed the fuel filter today and it did have some sediment in it. I got it running better after awhile and drove it around with no issues at all after putting in a new fuel filter but i drove like 10-15 miles to a friend house no issues at all the whole way and it started sputtering and running out of gas it seemed like right when i pulled into their place. At this point i'm lost. Is it a vacume issue a faulty new fuel pump i have no idea.

Can a bad egr solenoid cause skipping? How can I test it?

I don't know much about cars/trucks. I have a 1993 Ford F150 302. It has really bad skipping. I've tried pretty much everything the forums have told me to try. Can the egr solenoid cause my truck to skip, roughly idle? How can I test it? I don't have the money to just go out and try it. There are two little places where air can go to the vacuum hose from the solenoid. The one connected to the black wire lets air through, but the one connected to the green wire doesn't. Does that mean anything? Please and thank you.
