Obnoxious squealing noise in car?
I have a 2001 Ford Taurus and it's making a squealing noise. I had the serpentine belt replaced and all the pulleys cleaned off and checked and it's still squealing. Any ideas on what it could be?

I just got my 1994 Ford Taurus back from the transmission shop yesterday from getting the torque converter replaced. Yesterday it was fine. I drove to a friend's house from the shop and then home. Shutting it off and starting it twice in between. This morning I went out to it, turned the key, and nothing. The starter didn't even try to turn over. All instrumentation still works fine. Before I back it up and dig into it, any ideas what it could be? A blown fuse or anything like that?
I bought some LED bulbs for my Ford Taurus. They work but the bulbs are a little too small. The ends barely touch the metal contacts in my dome light assembly. They are loose, but still illuminate well. Could this be dangerous? (Causing a fire or electric short, etc?)
Just need to know cuz my husband is workin on one for someone else so he can charge them the right price
I have a 93 ford Taurus.
When I try to start my car, it was just making a single click noise and then would eventually start after I tried a couple more times.
The other day it wouldn't start, still made the single click noise, I tried a couple more times and now it doesn't make the noise at all.
The power works, my headlights don't dim or anything like that. I've had my car jumped and that still didn't work so I'm curious as to what it could be?
For a few weeks we have been having a mixture of coolant and oil on the ground. Today while doing the oil change and replacing the plug and gasket (which solved the leak) I notices whatever is right above the oil pan has a drop of antifreeze (diluted) coming off it about every thirty seconds. What part is this?
I'm looking for a way to lower my Taurus any link or help would be appreciated
My 2001 ford Taurus try to cut off a stop while the a/c is on. What possible could be the problem? - 1
Okay I need advice. I drive 2004 Ford taurus ses with dual over head cam 3.0 litre. I have been experiencing extremely rough idling and acceleration. There has been a noise coming from near the intake that sounds like a vacuum. The noise only shows up after driving for at minimum 4 miles however the noise goes away when accelerating. I have replaced both the EGR Valve and the IAC valve neither have fixed my problem. I do not have the money for a mechanic currently. If anyone recognizes this issue please let me know
