1996 ford ranger gas gauge not working?

Alright… My gas gauge sets right at the top of the E when moving, but when i turn the vehicle off, it will read right under the quarter tank line, than right back to E when it gets turned back on. Would this lean more to the sending unit in the tank or a bad gauge? Fuse is good. Figured i would rather ask before trying either option.

REAR DROPPING A FORD RANGER PICKUP TRUCK?

I have a few questions about my pickup truck. I'm planning on rear dropping my 97' ford ranger pickup truck. I'm planning on dropping the rear end so it levels to the front end. I was looking for the cheapest method. I have seen videos about just replacing the "shackles" for some shorter ones? And this should drop the rear end of the truck? Also how do I know how much to drop so it looks leveled and not higer or shorter than the front end side of the truck. What should I keep in mind before I do this? I want to know before heading out to a shop so I have some understanding of what to expect to hear. Honestly I wanted to see if I can even do it myself. As I take pleasure from extreme projects like this. Any help is good.

Does Ford make Mazdas in their factories?

I know Ford owns the Mazda company. And I know the small Mazda pickup is just a re-badged Ranger truck. But what about the other Mazdas? Are they assembled in Ford factories or Mazda factories when they are assembled in the USA? What about if they are assembled in Japan? Is that a shared Ford-and-Mazda factory, or just a Mazda factory, that Ford bought, but then left alone to operate the way it always did? (As you probably guessed, I have not had the best experiences with Fords. But I loved the Japanese Mazda truck that I owned, before Ford bought Mazda.)
