I have to pump my clutch when I start my truck?

When I start my truck for the first time in the day, my clutch doesn't seem to work right… Or at all(although with the truck off I can switch gears fine). I have to pump the clutch pedal A LOT to even just get into first gear, but after a little bit of awkward/ hard gear switching and about 2 min of driving, everything works its self out and the truck runs normally. And every time I start the truck later in the day the clutch works fine. If I start the truck in first gear even with the clutch pressed all the way down, the truck will immediately move forward.

Remember that this only happens the first time start my truck in the day.

-My truck is a Standard Ford Ranger 94'
-I had to take the truck to Midas in January, and ended up getting everything tuned up so far as I know.
-The engine oil does seem a bit low, about 3 inches on the the dipstick.
-I checked the clutch fluid and it was low so I filled it.
-Brake fluid is also good

I also don't know much about mechanics.
What's wrong? Is it the clutch, and how do I fix it?

1994 Ford Ranger, Rough Cranking When Engine Is Warm/Hot?

- 1994 Ford Ranger
- 2.3l Engine
- 110k Miles

My truck has been having problems cranking when the engine is warmed up/hot. When the engine is cold or hasn't been started for like 2-3hours, it will start right up.

I have a few ideas of what it may be, but I would like others opinions also.

- ECT Sensor?
- ICM?
- Crank Sensor?

Those are the three I have thought of that could be causing a problem with my situation.

A newer car with more miles or an older car with less mileage?

I have a 1995 honda civic ex coupe with 176,800 miles on it. It's been leased the first few years then my friend drove it until now some city driving some not, I've also put $2000 into it; new radiator, new belts, axle fixed etc. A client then gave me a 2001 ford ranger with 198,000 miles on it. I believe it hasn't had much city driving and it's also had two owners. I think both have gotten into very minor accidents. What car do I keep?

How difficult is it to change a clutch?

I've replaced head cams/gaskets but I've never worked on transmissions. Would it be much harder to replace a clutch? If there's a manual available I'm pretty sure I can do it. I have a 2004 Ford Ranger 2.3 5 speed
