My truck us having very hard time starting up. It cranks over, putters and shakes really bad then dies. Once it finally becomes drivable, it almost stalls when accelerating from a stop or turning right
Could this be a bad fuel pump, bad MAF, or another failing part?

98 ranger 180k miles in phenomenal shape but my new job Has a decent commute and I'd be driving about 20-25k miles. Regardless of the gas mileage is it ok to drive a truck that old that much? It's all high way miles about 55 mph very few turns and very little stop and go.
I think the 2.3 Ecoboost is very capable, but in many cases, stronger engines distinguish more premium (or) sportier trims from the Base trim. Do you feel that higher priced trims need a V6 to compete against others in the segment?
I have a 2004 Ford ranger 2 wheel drive with a 3.0 6 cylinder. I was able to get the 2 mounting bolts on the bottom with a 13 mm. However the socket set I have only goes to 14 mm. What size do I need to have to get the last bolt located on top near the solenoid?
Manually jumped fuel pump from battery, gives 40 psi at the fuel rail. Injectors arnt fireing, even with the fuel pump manually running. Inertia switch is good.

I'm using a gauge to test the pressure. With AC on max the needle moves between 25 and 45, the blue normal range. The compressor cuts on at 45 and off at 25. This happens continuously. The outside temp is 80 degrees.
Not exactly understanding what I was doing, I added a little refrigerant and now the needle goes to 47 in the yellow range. Will this do any harm? Can I remove the excess refrigerant? If so, how?
Is the system fully charged? If so, why isn't the air cooler?
1997 2.3L 5 Speed Manual Transmission Ford Ranger contant Rattling?
Added (1). The rattling didn't really start until after my EGR valve went bad, which has now been replaced. However, I still have a rattling sound, when it starts up I feel like its going to die and when its idle it rattles as well. It has rattled when its been very cold before but that was it. Now the rattle is constant and I can feel my truck vibrate occasionally from it. I would like some help trying to figure out what this could be caused by
I dreamed of buying an F-150 or Silverado, but because I'm a citizen of New York City, buying a truck the size of Silverado is not rational. I'm in doubt about buying a Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma or Nissan Frontier. I'm going to buy a truck in December, but I want to know which one to buy.
