1997 2.3L 5 Speed Manual Transmission Ford Ranger contant Rattling?
1997 2.3L 5 Speed Manual Transmission Ford Ranger contant Rattling?
Added (1). The rattling didn't really start until after my EGR valve went bad, which has now been replaced. However, I still have a rattling sound, when it starts up I feel like its going to die and when its idle it rattles as well. It has rattled when its been very cold before but that was it. Now the rattle is constant and I can feel my truck vibrate occasionally from it. I would like some help trying to figure out what this could be caused by
Bad motor or transmission mount
Fault might not actually be related to EGR but seems likely as started after working on it. Sounds as though a pipe? Feed to EGR is cracked or we have damaged /not correctly fitted it. A garage can easily overcheck work and more likely find source of noise as trained 'ears' and aware what to check. Bear in mind many noises do travel and not unknown for a rattle? To seem to be coming form one area in a vehicle yet be caused. By a fallout. Much further away .typicla would be exhaust fault such as broken bracket or a metal heat Shield touching etc
- Gears in my manual transmission Ford Ranger are difficult to shift when the engine is running. Why is this? This usually happens in the morning or if I have not driven in a while usually when its cold out. Once the car gets warmed it gets easier.
- Ford Ranger manual transmission? I'm 5'7" and do you think I ll be able to reach the clutch fine? Because since it's a bench seat you can't move It up
- 1994 ford ranger 2.3. 5 speed manual. No fuel to engine when starting? - 1 Manually jumped fuel pump from battery, gives 40 psi at the fuel rail. Injectors arnt fireing, even with the fuel pump manually running. Inertia switch is good.
- 1990 Ford Ranger manual transmission? I'm 5'7" and looking at a 1990 Ford Ranger. I have not yet seen it in person but since there are bench seats do you think I ll sit comfortable and reach the clutch fine etc?
