When I bought it nothing worked like power windows, power locks, horn, guages, headlights, inside lights, but the radio and climate controls work. What could be wrong. Is it all linked to one thing? The headlight switch is screwed up can that effect all these?
What can I do other than swap/lock the differential
Today for the very first time, the anti-theft alarm starting going off for no reason while it was parked in my driveway. I unlocked the drivers door with the key and the horn stopped and lights stopped flashing.Nobody was trying to break into the truck.
What caused this and how can I prevent it from happening again? I would hate for the alarm to go off in the middle of the night.
Is there a fuse I can remove to solve this problem? I don't keep any valuables in the truck to steal and don't think anyone would want to steal a 22 year old truck.
Will my 5x114.3 ford ranger rims fit a 5 lug boat trailer?

It's a automatic 2000 ford ranger 3.0L 2wd with only 130k km,
Symptoms: going into 2nd gear it shifts very hard and usually reaches very high rpms before shifting, (i've been letting off the gas to help it shift easier)
When it does shift hard it usually triggers my overdrive light to flash and my overdrive stops working, the transmission fluid smells slightly burnt but is still fairly clean. Also if i step on the gas on the highway to pass someone i've had the rpms redline suddenly and lose alot of engine power. Anyone know what causes this?
What is the most common fuse that needs to be pulled to stop the battery drain. Parking lights? Radio? Examples. Horn?
>1999 ford ranger?
So long story short, the steering wheel on my 1995 Mustang GT is very broken and I'm going to the junkyard this Sunday to get a new one. I'm trying to figure out all my options because I want to find a black wheel that'll fit in my car, but the junkyards near me don't have a lot of 4th gen mustangs. What other fords could I get a properly fitting wheel out of? I think the ford Ranger and Explorer of the late 90s and early 00s had the same wheel, but I'm not entirely sure if it would fit in my car. I'm
very limited on money so I can't buy one new.
Although the lamp still works but why does it still drain the battery… What do I do?
Added (1). it is the left head lamp that is draining my battery! But why, it still works… Maybe moisture in it?
I recently purchased a 2003 Ford Ranger to go to and from work. I also have a 2017 Tacoma. I just had an alignment, new control arms, rotors, and brakes put on the Ranger and I get a loud squeak every time I come to a stop or use the brakes. When I press on the break pedal it's almost as if I can feel the pad rubbing and the vibration. Obviously I don't experience this with my 2017 Tacoma. So I'm just wondering is this normal or is there something wrong?
