1995 Mustang GT compatible replacement steering wheels?
So long story short, the steering wheel on my 1995 Mustang GT is very broken and I'm going to the junkyard this Sunday to get a new one. I'm trying to figure out all my options because I want to find a black wheel that'll fit in my car, but the junkyards near me don't have a lot of 4th gen mustangs. What other fords could I get a properly fitting wheel out of? I think the ford Ranger and Explorer of the late 90s and early 00s had the same wheel, but I'm not entirely sure if it would fit in my car. I'm
very limited on money so I can't buy one new.
Salvage yards should have a "Hollander interchange manual" which will provide that information.
"Car-part" on line doesn't. So ask at the salvage yard before pulling.
They can be found on e-bay
- Is the transmission from a '92 Ford Tempo compatible with a '94 Ford Taurus? My transmission went out on my 1994 Ford Taurus and I can get a 1992 Ford Tempo transmission for a much cheaper price. I would please like to know if they are compatible. Thanks so much in advance! I'm a college student and I honestly can't afford much else.
