Do i need a pulley puller to remove my water pump pulley?

I have a 1996 ford ranger v6 4.0 liter and i was wondering if i need a pulley puller to remove it and/or what other tools will i be needing. It doesn't seem too hard and it's right there so i think i'm capable. I replaced the serpentine belt but now i need to replace both. Also if anyone would be able to give me a link to a video or kind of give me the gist of replacing the pulley.

Help with engine on 1994 Ford Ranger?

So I just picked up a project prerunner ranger. The engine and trans are there but it does not start. Now i don't know A LOT about these things but a lot of my friends are so thats why i got one to play around with them. I'd like to see if I can do some work myself on it and save some $ and get the engine going etc. It also needs a whole brake kit which I know how to do. But how do I get started diagnosing the engine to hook it up and get it going.

The guy i bought it from said before they started the cage etc the engine was running strong and was fine and I trust him. So there's nothing wrong with the engine, it just needs to get put together i guess. I can provide pics or anything that will help. Any help is appreciated thanks

Purchasing a vehicle, but can't decide?

I'll be paying off my current car soon, and will be giving it to my fiancée (she has no vehicle)

I can't decide on a 2008-2011 Ford ranger which will be around 10k with 40-100k miles

Or a 2014 f150 tremor (25k-29k) for 20k-68k miles on them

Which would you choose? Please pretend it was with your money and take It into calculatation, but also which one you'll want (it'll really help me)

4wd cv axles delima?

My truck is a 2000 ford ranger 4wd. I have rebuilt it from the ground up. Everything is new in the front-end. I have put a 3 inch body lift and a 1 and a half inch suspension lift on it. I did everything the proper way. It drives nice, but I have noticed that the cv axles are at a sharp angle due to the lift… My solution would be to drop the front differential down an inch and a half to put them back at factory angles and keep my ride height. However, I'm unable to find any aftermarket components to do it on a ranger. I can probably make some brackets, but thought I would ask here first to see if anyone on here has had this issue and what they did to fix it.
