Why isn't my 2003 Ford Ranger 3.0 starting?

Ok so here's the deal. My starter went out the other day while at my girlfriends house. I had to roll it's up and down her drive way she was cracking up? But anyway I went and got a new starter today and put it on and so now it still won't crank up when I turn the key and push the clutch down. I replaced the clutch safety switch thinking it was that andut was not. So then I tested the battery and charged it to make sure it was good and tested the starter to see if it was getting any juice. And it was. But I turn the key and nothing. I ark the solenoid and the starter spins but not on the fly wheel. Any ideas?

Looking for advice on a fair compromise for riding to school with my sisters?

In January, my older sister got her drivers license and is now driving me and my younger sister to and from school in dad s old ford ranger pickup.

Because my younger sister goes to a different school, she always gets to ride on the outside and I'm always stuck in the middle which is not much fun for a 14 year old boy.

Riding in the middle SUCKS because I have NO leg room and my younger sister is always invading my space. She wants to get in as soon as she is ready so I usually end up having to spend at least 5 minutes waiting in the tuck with her before my older sister is ready to go. I HATE having to wait in the truck almost as much as I hate the middle.

My younger sister is 11 and smaller than I'm so it seems like she would be able to deal with sitting in the middle easier than I can.

I have tried to talk to my parents about this but they just say I'm making a big deal about nothing and that my sister needs the outside seat since she gets out before me and in after me. They keep saying that when we're all getting in and out at that same time that I can ride on the outside.

Just wondering what others think is a fair solution here? Should my younger sister always get to ride on the outside since she is getting out before me and in after me? Should I get to ride on the outside and let her out since she is smaller? Should we take turns? I'm getting really tired of this seating arrangement.

1998 Ford ranger Misfire Cylinder 3?

So I'm getting a misfire in cylinder 3 and it has been preventing my truck from starting. Changed the Alternator, battery, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, cables and coil packs and ran sea foam through it. It's a 4 cylinder truck I don't know what the hell is the problem at this point very frustrated and just completely annoyed by it does anyone have the slightest idea of what this could be?

Tire noise or wheel bearing issue?

I recently got new rotors and brake pads for my ford ranger, pep boys put them in. A few weeks after that, I got new tires, also at pep boys. I've noticed a noise coming from the drivers side wheel/tire a couple weeks after (kind of like driving on a rough road, but not bumpy). The wheel bearings go inside of the rotors in this vehicle. I'm wondering if since they were most likely moved from the old rotors to the new rotors if this is likely the problem, or if it's just tire noise?

Added (1). Also, The lower ball joint is bad in that side, forgot to mention before

Need help figuring out what is wrong with my 1998 ford ranger?

I have a 1998 ford ranger 3.0l 4wd. Anyways, I drove it home and it wouldn't start the next day. So, I checked the fuel pressure at the rail and it was 0psi. So, I pulled the bed off right quick and checked the voltage to the pump. The first pin had 5v, middle pin has 0v, and the last pin had 5v. I checked the relay and it was good… Any ideas on where else to look?

Car Alarm ford ranger 2003?

If I press the panick button or the lock button twice it will sound, but if i press the lock button once, the car will lock but it would not activate the alarm ( if I open the car the alarm will not sound). I used to fix this by just pressing the lock button many times, but now it doesn't help.
Any suggestions?

Should I get a Ford Ranger, or a Jeep Cherokee (XJ)?

I'm shopping for a 1st car. I can't deside if I want to get a Ford Ranger or Jeep Cherokee! What do you think is better, and why?

I would use my car for offroading, daily transportation, hauling wood to my camp, hunting, etc. I have a budget of around $3,000. I plan on keeping this car for a long time.
