My dad is going to give me a ford explorer and I was wondering what are some simple and clean hellaflush mods that can be done to it
I need to take the 6 cd changer out of my 03 ford explorer because its broke and tells me all slots are full and cd error. I know I could replace it with the same thing but all I see online is how them 6 cd changers break all the time… Is there any other things I could put there to replace it with? Any ideas?
I just bought a '03 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition from a private dealer. I really only needed a running vehicle I didn't care for the extras but it'd be nice if I could get them to work. I'm having 2 problems.
1. The 6 disc cd thing in the front keeps reading "CD error" and tells me "All slots are full". I never put any CDs in but the person before might have. They won't eject or anything, is there any way to eject them any other way. I really don't wanna take the whole thing apart and risk breaking something more.
2. The dvd player in the back with the tv isn't working. Recently my aunt got a disk jammed into it (i don't know how she was messing with stuff when I wasn't there) but before it did put the disc in and eject properly. But besides that the screen flickers like its trying to come on but it doesn't. Any tips on this?
SN: I'm not too worried about it to the point I want to go pay a shop to get it fixed at the moment, maybe later on when I get other things done but I'd like to see if i can fix it myself. I'm pretty good with electronics. I can take apart computers and stuff but i don't know about these problems.
I have a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited. I have a 40 month lease. I can no longer afford the payments due to a separation. I owe 21 months still at $517 per month. I have good credit and I'm the only borrower on the lease. Would I be able to go to the Ford dealership and possibly buy something cheaper or release something cheaper. Or would a voluntary repossession completely kill my credit. I'm under mileage and the car is immaculately kept. It has every option available on that model. I just need to quickly reduce my bills due to my situation.
I have a 98 ford explorer. It just stopped moving. I was gonna change the transmission fluid but in the mean time i tried to drive it. I got it to move maybe a mile and it quit. Would a fluid and filter change take care of it

Would I be able to get these parts off of a 2000-2002 ford explorer to put on my 2005 ford explorer sport trac?
The crack is large enough that it has to be repaired by replacing the entire windshield.
