I have a 2003 Ford Explorer 4x4 with the 4.6L V8 with about 137000 miles and it's due for an oil change and its the first since I have owned it but I do not know what the previous owner used. The manual tells me to use 5w20 but I have been told its probably better to use 10w40 because of the mileage but I don't know if this is true. Also full synthetic vs synthetic blend? Best brand?

No matter what I do if the engine is running hot air blows at full force out of the overhead vents in the car. It's miserable for my kids. I closed the vents and tried pushing the off button but it still blows. I turned on the AC but that did nothing. I tried changing temp with the dual setting but it also did nothing. Help please, also I do have a warranty that covers the air conditioning, do you think this will be covered?

What are some opinions on 2 12inch Hifonics Brutus subwoofers. I've looked and can't really find any reviews on them. I'm thinking about putting them in a 2004 Ford Explorer with a 1600 watt amp.
Instrument panel will come on and it will ding as usual but when I turn the key it won't turnover or even try to turnover. Radio isn't coming on either.

First off, I currently have a car. Its a 1999 Ford Explorer. The only thing is the gas is becoming an issue. She gets 13.8 gallons a mile! Terrible for this economy. I'm looking for a gas efficient car that has good cargo space. If you good people know any such car please let me know!
