IPod interface in 2005 Ford Explorer?

I just got a 2005 Ford Explorer XLS, and I would like a way to hook up my iPod to the radio. I still have the factory radio. My first choice would be to install something that would let me hook my iPod up to the radio I already have (not an FM transmitter), and if that isn't practical I would like to simply install a new radio.
I do not want a tacky looking installation with a wire coming out of the dash, instead, I would rather install something into the dash in which i could plug a USB or 3.5mm audio cable. OR, if no such thing is practical, I would like to find a radio of the same size that has an aux in port. (It is important to me that the radio has green lights so that it fits in with the rest of my car)
I've looked quite a bit already but haven't been able to come up with any results, also I don't know what radios will be compatible with my car.

Engine swap for 1994 ford explorer?

I have a 1994 ford explorer that just reached 190,000 miles and the engine has been having problelms for the last 2 years. I'm wondering what kind of engines I could get swapped into it. If possible a v8, or a bigger v6 as this thing is a lead wagon. Just curious, please don't tell me my car is terrible I already know. I like it but the engine isn't going to last much longer.
