Does heat come out when you have the max ac on in a 1998 ford expedition?

My mom has been having problems with her heater in her 1998 ford expedition. She took.it in and they say it works if you turn it to heat then turn the other one on max ac? That's how they say the heater works? How could it be hot if its coming from the max ac? But it was cold coming from the heater/panel/floor or just panel or just floor. There trying to say that's how its supposed to be but it would have to use freon if its on max ac? There wanting us to pay them for working on the vehicle but still have no heat but he says it works on max ac? We need to know if that's true and how the heat works througH the vehicle

Why won't my car battery keep charge?

I have a 2005 Ford expedition. I bought a new battery about 3 weeks ago and now it won't keep charge. Lights work but are dim and it just makes a clicking sound when I try to start it. Also last battery had a lot of corrosion on it. Any idea what it could be? I can't get it to a mechanic because it won't turn on.

2002 Ford Expedition XLT 5.4 4WD won't start! Rapidly clicking when trying to crank?

I've been having some problems with my Ford Expedition XLT 5.4 v8 triton 4wd recently.

About a week ago I drove it to see the family a few miles away and when I got back in it wouldn't crank, all I was getting was a rapid clicking noise. We brought the battery to Autozone for them to test it and it was working fine, and then we took off the altenator and brought it end which turned out to be bad, so after replacing it, it started up and I drove it back home.

I then went back a few days later after not driving it and it cranked right up perfectly and I drove it to visit them again, I got the exact same thing again, where it was making a rapid clicking noise. This time we pinpointed where it was coming from and it was coming from a little thing bolted to the firewall which autozone called it a Starter Relay/Selenoid, below is a link of what it is.

http://www.urqualitysolutions.com/New-Solenoid-12V-15-150-SAZ-4201DX-Starter-Relay-7-1035-7-1035.htm

From what I've read, if the starter is bad it'll do one click and not rapid clicking noise like this little device is making. Also that a common occurence is that possibly the cables have gone bad/aren't connecting well. I will be tryig this later today when I head on over but was wondering if anyone else has any ideas as to what it might be incase that doesn't work and i'll have to take off the starter to get it tested.

My 2002 Ford Expedition is not starting?

So my SUV has recently stopped starting. The cars engine is not turning over at all, seems like lack of fuel flow through a previous experince. I've had a few recent issues where I would park the car and come back out 20 minutes later and the car wouldn't run after turning over making me wait. A new fuel pump was installed two years ago. Also the cars electronics are going haywire. The lights are flicking on and off, the door locks are unlocking and locking, the dash board is flicking. Could this just be a fuse problem leading to the fuel pump possibly not working or is this multiple things?

What company/place puts on custom front fascias on different vehicles?

I have seen Escalades with a Rolls Royce front fascia on it and I wanted to know what company or place does that kind of stuff. I want to put the 2014 Ford Fusion front fascia on a 2013 Ford Expedition. I have made a design with a photo editor website and I really like it. That is what the picture is. Would they be able to do the rear too? Thanks for the possible help. What company place puts on custom front fascias on different vehicles

What to call a silver ford expedition?

We had a white one and these are big trucks, My family sometimes refers to it as a tank because its so big. Anyways, we called it Shamu then we got a new one and called it Shamu 2 (after the killer whale at Sea World) Now to change it up we're getting a new one in silver but what can we call it?

1999 Ford Expedition large Coolant Leak?

99 Ford Expedition, Eddie Bauer, 4WD - Vehicle was operating normally, until taken on a rough gravel mountain road yesterday. Upon stopping and getting out, noticed a trail of fluid behind the vehicle on the road, going back quite a way. Looking underneath, a large leak was pouring antifreeze out, not directly under the engine, but about as far back as the driver's seat, and center (not on one side or the other), and with repeated checks of the coolant reservoir, it had emptied out completely over the course of a few minutes of not moving. The leak was only producing while the engine was running, not while off. The vehicle operated normally all the way back home, about a 45 minute drive, no overheating, no shudders, no noise of any kind, so I would think there's not a significant engine problem, and there's still coolant in the system to keep the engine from overheating. Wondering if this might be an easy fix, a hose that came loose because of the excessive vibration from the rough road, or something more. Haven't had the chance yet to get under the car, and can't take it in until tomorrow. Looking for opinions, estimates, anything?
