Ford Expedition or Lincoln Navigator?

I'm a 16 year old guy and I want an SUV. I'm used to driving larger vehicles. I'm debating between a 2003-06 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD or a 1998-02 Lincoln Navigator 4WD (not much different from the Expedition). I know they're essentially the same vehicle with different styling. I know they cost the same to fix because they have the same parts. The Expedition is based on the F150 so parts shouldn't be too bad. I'll need 4WD in the snow. Which one should I get?

Should I get a Ford Expedition or Lincoln Navigator?

Hole under transmission block?

Yesterday, I checked my truck (2003 ford expedition) and I noticed there was a large hole near, what I thought, was the transmission. It seemed like there should be a plug there, as it was around 2 inches diameter. I looked into the hole and there appeared to be a blue belt and then a gear with teeth. There was also something leaking out which was dark brown, which I thought was just oil. I have had my transmission changed twice in the past, so I was just wondering if it's something I should be concerned about. I'm going to be driving 5-8 hours this weekend so I want to make sure there's nothing wrong with the transmission.

Why is Ford the only vehicle manufacturer that uses keyless entry?

Did Ford patent it so no other company can use it?

Will any other company be able to use it in the near feature?

I wanna get a WRX or STi soon and it'd be nice if they would be able to add it to the newer models.

Added (1). EDIT: So I believe I worded the question wrongly, I didn't mean a key fob.

I meant to say a "keyless entry pad" that are found on the driver side doors on Ford vehicles. The 5 button pad (0-10 numbers) that allow you to unlock or lock doors or the trunk.

I have an Expedition and it's great feature if you have to get into your vehicle without your keys or if you want to mess with your friend's car if you know the code.

I think it's one of those things that is nice to have just in case.
