Ford Expedition or Lincoln Navigator?
I'm a 16 year old guy and I want an SUV. I'm used to driving larger vehicles. I'm debating between a 2003-06 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD or a 1998-02 Lincoln Navigator 4WD (not much different from the Expedition). I know they're essentially the same vehicle with different styling. I know they cost the same to fix because they have the same parts. The Expedition is based on the F150 so parts shouldn't be too bad. I'll need 4WD in the snow. Which one should I get?
Doesn't sound like you care much about the luxury features in a typical Lincoln and it sounds like you're treating both pretty much equal. That said, common sense tells you to go with what's newer and/or less used (depending on mileage). You're buying a full-size SUV built on a full-size truck platform, so both are risky purchases regardless. That's just what you deal with when buying a used full-size truck.
Ford Expedition. More reliable and cheaper to maintain.
Since the vehicles are so similar, you should base your decision on the actual condition of the specific vehicles that you like. Get a mechanic to inspect the one or two that you finally think you want to buy.
- Will Ford Crown Victoria rims fit a 2012 Lincoln MKZ? A rock rolled off a cliff and destroyed a rim on my friend s 2012 Lincoln MKZ and according to what i can find on the net, the Ford Crown Victoria anywhere from a 91 up has the same lug pattern as the 2012 Lincoln MKZ, is that correct? Or am i wishful thinking? Really need to find a rim for this car because his wife has some doctors appointments she needs to get to and they only have the 1 car and they can't find a Lincoln rim anywhere around here Needing to find a used one
- Hunting: They totaled my 2010 Ford Expedition. Should I get a new expedition or an Escalade? The insurance told the collision center that it is not worth it. I really like my rental 2019 Escalade that I have been using. Should I buy a new Escalade or a new expedition? We have enough for a 2019. Not getting used. We will get about $10,000 for the expedition. I'm just glad nobody was hurt.
- Ford expedition compatible with Lincoln navigator? I have a ford expedition and it has that stupid twist handle. I want to put a Lincoln navigator rear hatch on it instead. I know its possible cause i've seen it on YouTube but no explanation on the process. I want to know the process and what years are compatible and any other info id need to know.
- 2007 Ford Expedition vs 2007 Chevy Tahoe vs 2004 Lincoln Navigator? I wanted to get one of these due for the 4 wheel drive in the winter. I live in Boston, so it gets rough. I wanted to get one of these three. And I don't know which one is better. I test drove a 2007 Tahoe, and loved it. Although I never drove an Expedition nor Navigator. (although I drive a Lincoln Continental, so I might understand lincolns performance in a navigator). If anyone has one of these, which one would be better?
