2001 Ford Escort Stalling?

We have a 2001 Ford Escort SE 4D and we had it parked for about 3 years and when we started to drive it again everything seemed fine and then we noticed after driving it in for awhile Hot and Humid weather it would start to choke and sputter and stall and it would start right back up and we would continue driving and then I replaced the spark plugs and wires/oil and oil filter/air filter and a couple of emission hoses and fuel filter/pcv valve and new battery and this car is still stalling after driving awhile in hot weather but does not do it when the weather is normal. Any Ideas what could be the problem

Why does my car feel like it has no second gear?

I own a 1992 ford escort 1.9L that has quite a few problems
-stalls on right turns with low fuel
-feel like second is non existent
-fuel gauge reads 1/4 of tank and dies
-trouble shifting
-trouble getting up hills
-trouble accelerating
-problem of speed occurs right around 25-50mph
I've replaced the fuel pump housing and know it has a clogged catalytic converter, an exhaust leak at the manifold, and that's all I know, if you have any insight to any of these questions please help

Why does my ford escort run out of gas at a 1/4 of a tank?

I own a 1992 ford escort lx 1.9L automatic. When I drive my car it's hard to always keep it filled up being a college student, however, if I let the fuel gauge drop below a 1/4 of a tank all sorta of crazy stuff happens. First of all and most important my car dies! It will sound like it's being starved of gas and bog out. Also if I make right turns then it stalls, I've done a lot of research trying to solve this problem and have come across some stuff but nothing solid.

98 ford escort zx2 stopped running and won't start?

Manuel transmission, i've stalled a lot while learning, may have fouled the spark plugs from starting engine too soon
While driving down a pot hole covered freeway the gas pedal stopped working, and by the time i pulled over the engine turned off, radio and lights still work. Check engine light came on slightly after i already noticed the car was slowing down. I noticed earlier i was going at 3 thousand rpm while at 65mph in 5th gear(my highest gear) if that means anything.
THINGS I've TRIED-fuel pump still works, new battery but replaced it to be sure, timing belt good, all fuses are good, crankshaft and camshaft are good, replaced fuel injector pressue sensor with no result, no noticeable leaks, fluids and engine oil are good.
WHEN I TRY TO START-it cranks and i feel a vibration that seems like its just about to start, but then nothing happens.
any help is appreciated

Added (1). it was the timing belt. A pulley broke and shredded it. Slight chipping around the cover, there was no serious damage because its a non-interference engine. Mechanic tried to charge 1900 to fix, it can be done at home with a lot of patience

What to expect after replacing a idle speed or air control valve and getting a throttle body cleaning?

I recently had 2 diagnostics done and both said I needed to replace the idle air control valve but then one also said I needed a throttle body cleaning so I had my friends dad replace the part and do the cleaning after he did that the car still drove a lil funny like before it would shut off at red lights or make the sound like it was going to cut off then I would have to step all the way on the gas to the floor for it to make any movement and so right after he cleaned the throttle it shut off on me and he said to keep the car running cause it had to get used to the chemical and so I did and then I went driving it around and it stopped making the noise but it still is a drag when I switch from reverse to drive or vice versa when is it going to start acting normal again and I have a 1993 mercury tracer kind of like a ford escort and also if a back tail light goes out would that cause the check engine light to come on or no? And also why does it cost to have a diagnostic done on an older car like it's almost a 100$ everytime I want to get one everywhere I go it's only free for cars 1997 and up I like my old car wish it wasn't harder to figure out the problems tho.
