1999 ford f350 with 7.3 or 2006 f350 with the infamous 6.0? People that know about diesel would be AMAZING?

So i need a work truck and i'm a full beginner to the diesel world but i've set my eyes on ford. I found this beautiful ford lariat 2006 from a corner dealer for 12k with 186k miles. Now i heared diesels tend to last longer than gas. Anyways i started doing research on it and boy was i in for a surprise. Found out that the 6.0 that comes with that truck is apparently garbage junk. But everyone says if you are going to get one then get the later models which the 06 is since they fixed a few issues. Then i read about bulletproofing the 6.0 at the cost of about $5k. Now i was leaning on this but i found a 1999 ford f350 with the 7.3 which everyone loves for 7k off an individual who has a lot of paper work. The thing is the 7.3 has 380k miles. Will the truck handle the use?

fyi i don't plan to do extreme pulls just some car hauls and some cargo probably like 2 times a week and not that far.

should i go with the 2006 lariat 4 door dually 6.0 with 187,000 miles
or
should i go with the 1999 lariat 4 door dually 7.3 with 380,000 miles

Bolt broke in block. What can I do?

I have a 2010 ford f350 with the 6.4l. The wires for the egr temperature output sensor were ripped out of the sensor. So I went to replace the sensor. Well it snapped off. What can I get it out with? Can't use easy out or anthing. The bolt and sensor are two separate pieces and so the sensor is still there stabbing through the bolt. What can I do? If your trying to recall which sensor this is it is behind the passenger side head. Here is a picture of the sensor. Bolt broke in block. What can I do

I was just charged 1200.00 for a fuel pump on a 2002 f-250 truck?

I was just charged 1200.00 for a fuel pump on a 2002 f-250 truck? - 1

Added (1). Sorry, It would not allow me to finish my question. My fuel tank was not removed from my truck as I put tape on the bolts prior to leaving it at shop and the tape was still intact… I think it was a relay and was charged for a fuel pump at a ford dealership. I also had a pinion seal replaced and they didn't fill the rear end with oil which caused it to fail.

Added (2). gasoline

What kind of used truck can I get for snow plowing?

I'm interested in buying a truck intended for plowing snow on residential driveways in the Western NY area. I intend to do 60 driveways for the winter for the initial year. My budget is limited to $20,000. I was looking at some Ford F-250s, but my friend told me all I needed was a Ford F-150 or a Silverado if I went with Chevy. Any suggestions?

How many miles will a 1989 Ford-350 last?

I'm thinking about buying an 89 F350. It's in good shape and runs great but it has 150,000 miles on it. I wanna know if it's gonna last another hundred or if I would be wasting my money. I've heard diesels last 250,000 and upward if you take care of them, I want someone's opinion who knows what their talking about. No one I know knows anything about trucks.

Can you take the driver's test in a Ford F350 van? (12 passenger )?

I have a large family and that is the only vehicle we have. I waited a year to get my license and now I want it badly. Can you take the test in any type of car/van? Also the only way I can complete a 3 point turn in a vehicle like that is if I dry steer. Will I automatically fail if I dry steer?

1994 Ford F-250 7.3l Diesel with 316k miles worth the buy?

I've been looking at a 1994 Ford F-250 XLT 4x4 with the famous 7.3l diesel (unsure if it is the IDI N/A or Turbo or the 7.3 Powerstroke, owner does not say in the add) The main problem that I see with it is that it has 316000 miles. Would that be worth it? The owner is selling pretty damn cheap at $1900. He says it runs good but would there be anyway to tell how much life it has left from the initial check before buying? How much would it cost to rebuild one of these motors?
