What year did Ford start putting ABS in the F series trucks?
I'm trying to find a Ford F350 to buy and two factors that I'm including are airbags and ABS. ABS stands for Anti-lock Braking System. It basically pumps the brakes a lot faster than a human could so the tires are still spinning while the vehicle slows down. This allows steering and braking. According to what I read online, Ford started putting airbags in the F series trucks in 1994. I'm wondering what year they put ABS in because it may affect the year part of the decision. If it's after 1994 then it affects my decision, if it is or is before 1994, it does not affect my decision. If you don't like Ford then don't be a dick, just go outside and listen to your Chevy rust away.
