Problems with my ford diesel truck?
I have a 2002 ford f 250 7.3 Diesel, it started missing and I was low in oil. I replenished the oil but it is still missing and blowing white smoke or the muffler. Any ideas as of what can it be?
Well white smoke indicates water in the combustion chamber. I would check the coolant and see if there's any oil in it. And get a pressure test done to see if there's any leak in the cooling system.
Watery/steamy smoke? Head gasket?
Oily smelly fumes. Injection timing off?
- Shifting problems and intake problems? I drive a 1997 ford ranger with a 2.3l automatic. I have recently experienced a hard shifting in my truck even when I'm not on the gas it has problems shifting. And I cleaned my air filter and filter hose that goes to my throttle body and there was transmission fluid in the hose. What can be causing this and how can I fix it or how much will it cost roughly?
- What is the best programmer for my 02 F350,7.3 Diesel Truck for performance and fuel mileage? I own a F350 Ford superduty 4x4 with the 7.3 Diesel engine, I'm looking for the best programmer for fuel mileage that is under $800.
- Diesel truck won't start when hot? I've got a 2005 ford f350 6.0 turbo diesel, and it starts fine when cold but won't even hit when it's hot, I have to use starting fluid to get it goin. Even right after I shut it off. We have replaced the ICP sensor already. Any help will be much appreciated. -thanks
- Is a 2006 ford E350 moving truck with a 6.0L power stroke diesel engine worth it or no? For expedited deliveries is that truck good to get or no? I've been reading a lot of bad reviews about the 6.0L diesel engine, does it affect the box vans as well?
