Diesel truck won't start when hot?

I've got a 2005 ford f350 6.0 turbo diesel, and it starts fine when cold but won't even hit when it's hot, I have to use starting fluid to get it goin. Even right after I shut it off. We have replaced the ICP sensor already. Any help will be much appreciated.

Clean the battery terminal positive and ground then check the wire to starter if any have had acid on them change them because the wires heat up and spreed a part losing voltage

Vapor lock?

It's not a turning over issue it turns over just fine. Could it be an oil pressure issue? Wrong type of oil? Over due oil Change? Anything like that? We just bought the truck a few weeks ago and it did great for a couple days then I checked the oil and it wasn't even on the stick, it took a gallon to bring the level up perfect. And it's just been down hill from there.

  • Why did my car start and die when put into gear? Now it won't start at all? It's a cold winter day (below zero) Car started right up! I let it run for about 2 minutes, I put it in gear and it just died. I figured it's cold out, not real surprising, but when I tried to start it again, it won't start!   • Ford 3000 diesel tractor cranks hard and gets hot on starter? It cranks hard and makes a slight grinding noise. The battery posts and cables get warm while the cable connection on the solenoid and the ground on the face of the starter gets real hot.
  • Car won't start even with jump start? I have a Ford Escort 2001. I checked the battery at Auto Zone, told me it was fine and had charge. The alternator is also good. The starter is also fine. When I turn the key there's no clicks. The lights on the dashboard stay on. Does anyone know what it could be? I've also checked the cables and connections.
