Bolt broke in block. What can I do?
I have a 2010 ford f350 with the 6.4l. The wires for the egr temperature output sensor were ripped out of the sensor. So I went to replace the sensor. Well it snapped off. What can I get it out with? Can't use easy out or anthing. The bolt and sensor are two separate pieces and so the sensor is still there stabbing through the bolt. What can I do? If your trying to recall which sensor this is it is behind the passenger side head. Here is a picture of the sensor.
Drill it out with progressively larger bits until you can work all the pieces out with whatever you can get in there. You may have to re-tap the hole and / or sleeve it.
