2000 Ford Taurus SES p1506 code?
Got a code for p1506, manufacture control, aka iac valve, I changed the iac and it was indeed pretty dirty but did not fix the problem. I installed and cleared the code, same code popped up

I've never changed my oil myself but since jiffy lube messed my car up before I decided to try it myself. I was wondering after you drain the oil and go to remove the filter do I need to have anything covering my starter or if the last of the oil will miss it when I remove it? I know oil has messed up my starter before but that s when there was plenty of oil in there.
Outside of the city and close suburbs of NYC where they all drive their fancy little luxury cars to compete and show off, everywhere else there's pickup trucks seemingly EVERYWHERE. 80 percent of em I see are not hauling or towing. I may be wrong, but my philosophy is its a rebellion against city folks, showing they're these tough and macho good ole boy country guys. And the good ole boys compete with other guys as to who has the better truck. When the gas is more expensive and upkeep, wouldnt a cheaper ford taurus be the more reasonable and sensible vehicle since they're not using the back side that much, and only using it to get from point A to point B. What's the secret i'm missing, is it just that group mindset and following others.
2002 ford Taurus a/c running while stopped makes my power steering tighten like maybe the fluid gets hot?
Car smells like gas after driving 2003 ford Taurus ses?
I have a 2005 Ford Taurus and I lost the ignition key. Can I get a new one cut? Dealership said ford only keeps codes for 8 years?
Ok so lately my cars been stalling randomly, all I do when it stalls is hop out, pop my hood open, hop back in the car and start it back up and it turns over just fine, I kid you not all I do is pop the hood and it starts up just fine, I don't touch anything under the hood or mess with anything, literally just pop the hood and it starts back up, any answers as to what's going on with my car?
I have a Ford Taurus with 139000 miles on it. I was driving when my transmission started slipping it hasn't done this before. Then I stopped and whenever I press the gas it wouldn't gothen it slipped into a gear and I pulled over on the side of the road. It was leaking transmission fluid however the fluid is red and not Brown. Before this the car was driving fairly well. Is this just a leak with something stuck in the transmission or is the transmission completely blown.
As many people know that the Ford Taurus has a problem with oil leaking into the starter and causing them to quit working. The last 2 times I've had someone else to replace my starter but I've now started to fix easy things on my car do to price. I was going ti do it last time but I don't know how to solder the wires together. Can't find anyone to do it this time. I can't find a video of anyone soldering a wire on a starter. So I'm wondering how I ended up with a starter that needs it done. I'm also worried about the oil and what will happen if I'm soldering close by it. Thank you for any and all help 1 can provide in advance.
