How do I solder a wire on my 1999 Ford Taurus starter?

As many people know that the Ford Taurus has a problem with oil leaking into the starter and causing them to quit working. The last 2 times I've had someone else to replace my starter but I've now started to fix easy things on my car do to price. I was going ti do it last time but I don't know how to solder the wires together. Can't find anyone to do it this time. I can't find a video of anyone soldering a wire on a starter. So I'm wondering how I ended up with a starter that needs it done. I'm also worried about the oil and what will happen if I'm soldering close by it. Thank you for any and all help 1 can provide in advance.

I'm lost why would you need to soldier onto the starter motor?
crimp links are my favourite method of joining wires on cars

The trigger wires that run to the starter solenoid are either a female push on connector or an "eye" connector that bolts onto the solenoid. They crimp onto the wire.
The large B+ cable that runs to the starter should be replaced if bad.
Fix the oil leak jojo.

Never heard of soldering a wire onto a starter. Obviously it would be much better to have someone do it that knows what they are doing and don't have to solder a wire onto the starter.
