Is this normal or is my ford ranger fuel gauge stuck/broken?

I recently purchased a 2007 ford ranger, and i do not know much of how its fuel gauge works yet. I filled it up for the first time a couple days ago and drove it about 35 miles since, and the fuel gauge still shows full. The gauge shows empty when i turn off the truck and then upon starting it up returns tot he full position like normal. Is this normal for ford rangers, or otherwise what could be wrong? Also what would be the range on a full tank for this type of truck?

Ford ranger '03 Fuse blown battery light?

My dome light is loose and ducktaped to the roof, and its caused me to blow the speedometer/windshield wipers fuse four times now. After replacing the fuse this last time, the battery light is on and the battery gage indicates a low battery. I'm thinking I may of damaged an alternatator wire or something.

Will my new head unit fit into my 2000 Ford Ranger?

I have a new Kenwood DPX501BT double Don head unit that I'm going to install into my truck. I've seen some YouTube videos online of putting in other double din head units into this model but they had to grind off some trim so it could fit, will I have any difficulties making this fit?

Wrong sparkplug put in truck?

I have a 93 ford ranger, for some reason thought it was a 97. Put sparkplugs in for a 97, not sure if that's bad or if the sparkplugs for the two years are pretty much the same. Been driving it around fine, just don't wanna do damage to it.

Misfiring and loss of power. (2002 ford ranger 3.0)?

I was driving down the highway when I noticed the temp guage rising above normal operating temperature. I pulled over before it got too hot, but as soon as the temp went up the truck started shaking, misfiring, and loss of power all of a sudden. I checked the oil it wasn't milkey. No smoke whatsoever out of the exhaust. No leaks but I checked the coolant and there was none in there. I only drove it 5 miles before this happened. I towed it home changed the thermostat and put coolant in then burped it. Now no more overheating but still misfiring and loss of power. What could it be?!
