1999 Ford Ranger Speedometer not working?

I own a 1999 ford ranger, my speedometer no longer works and neither does the odometer. I have replaced the Speed sensor on the rear dif, without resolution.
The truck is Rwd and completely stock
This is my first vehicle, so i would greatly appreciate a fix as soon as possible

Added (1). The transmission is manual

How to tell if you have good oil pressure without a guage?

My guage will not work for nothing. I have changed the oil pressure sensor and still nothing… Anyways, the engine purrs like a kitten when engine temp is cool… When it gets warm however, it starts ticking/tapping and develops a miss. I wanted to check the oil pressure when it warmed up to see what it was running… However, I don't know how without a guage. Any ideas? Its a 2000 ford ranger 4wd with a 4.0L V6.

Can I drive an older car long distance?

I'm planning on buying an older car, either a 1984 Monte Carlo, 1999 Cadillac Eldorado, or a 2000 Ford Ranger and drive either one to Fort Polk from Miami since I'm PCSing there in a month. I was wondering is it a good idea to drive an older vehicle that far even if it is well maintained? Also how hard would it be to find parts and fix a classic car like the Monte Carlo?

Why does my power steering pump squal when I turn?

I have checked the fluid and it fine… It is a 2000 ford ranger with 4.0 V6 engine. It has a 3 inch body life and oversize mud tires… Would large tires cause it to whine? Or do I need to just change my pump?

Oil pressure sensor not working?

My oil pressure constantly reads nothing. I recently purchased a 2000 ford ranger with a 4.0L V6. Well, it constantly reads nothing on oil pressure. The motor has no knock and runs smooth… Do you think it is just the sensor? The oil pumps probably wouldn't be out would it? The truck has 170000 miles on it.

How much is a 2000 ford ranger with 170,000 miles and 3 inch body lift worth?

It is a stepside, extended cab. It has a few probs… Window on drivers side doesn't work… Electric windows… And the tires are kinda bald… It also has a slight oil leak somewhere… It always leaves little dots of oil when it is parked. It does burn any oil at all though. What would it be worth you think?

2000 ford ranger 6 cylinder engine is making a taping noise?

I left it set more a couple months and now it is making a taping noise when I start it. My friend had a stethoscope with a rod on it… He held it to the valve covers and block to listen. I heard nothing on valve cover and only heard it slightly on the block, but it was really loud on the alternator… Does that mean it is my alternator? How accurate is a stethescope? Also, the battery was dead and we jumped it… Not sure if that matters… Any ideas?

Are the 1980s vehicles hard to find?

Here are a list of vehicles from the 1980s that I believe are considered very rare and generally not seen any more.

Ford Ranger (First Generation: 1983-1989/1990)
Jeep Comanche (1986-1992)
Ford Bronco II (1984-1989/1990)
Ford Taurus (First Generation:1986-1991)
Ford LTD Crown Victoria (1979-1991)
Ford Mustang (Third Generation:1979-1993)
Ford Tempo

I think if people want a old vehicle they probably might have to get a vehicle from the mid to late 1990s because the 1980s/early 90s are vehicles that are generally not seen anymore because by the way of their bad condition through the years. A 1993 to 1997 Ford Ranger is a truck I'm looking for because it looks very nice and they are more seed Ted the first generation Ford Rangers (1983-1989/1990). Likewise I want to know if these vehicles that I listed above are very rare and they are generally not seen any more on the roads.
