2008 Ford Ranger ABS issue?

2008 Ford Ranger with an ABS problem. ABS activates constantly under 25 mph. But once I hit 25 MPH the light comes on and the brakes work great at all speeds until the truck is shut off, then the problem restarts.

I have installed new pads and rotors, making sure the ABS ring is on each rotor, and identical to the worn out parts I replaced. I replaced one front ABS sensor due to damage, the other front sensor tests good. Rear sensor was pulled and cleaned, not sure how to test. Had shop diagnose the light, but the test came back "ABS system unresponsive".

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is it ok to drive a car with a transmission fluid leak for a week before getting fixed?

I have a 2007 ford ranger with only 38k miles on it, recenntly I have been having minor delays when shifting into drive from reverse before it catches and I actually move forward. So i checked my transmission fluid which seems to be pretty low a good amount below the cross hatched area. So I added more fluid and then saw some leak onto the garage floor within 30mins. I have not seen any leak before, could i still drive it before i get it fixed next week without causing more damage?

What could be causing my transmission fluid to be so low with no puddles or wet spots around?

I have a 2007 ford ranger with only 38k miles on it. Recently i have been having some slight 2-3 second delays when shifting to and from reverse and drive before it catches and will move. So today I decided to check my transmission fluid. Upon checking it I found there to be some there but it to be very low way below the crosshatched area. This made me think it is leaking because I know that transmission fluid doesn't burn off, but there are no spots around my garage or driveway that would indicate a leak. What could be going on?

Added (1). After waiting 30 mins from adding transmission fluid and looking under the truck i now see a small puddle.

Replacing Exhaust Manifold?

I have a 1991 Ford Ranger 2x4 with a 4 cylinder. Would it be worth the money to replace the exhaust manifold for a less restrictive one and hopefully gain a little more HP? Or should I just not even waste the money.

Also do you have any other suggestions on how to squeeze a little more juice out of this tiny engine?

Any problems with a 2003 ford ranger edge 4x4?

I'm looking at one with 160 thousand miles. It has a rebuilt transmission so that s already a plus. Its a v6 automatic though. I heard that the tranny for the v6 is better than the 4. I'm also concerned that its a 4x4. Is that reliable in that vehicle? It seems to rum really well with tons of kick it d be an awesome truck for me to get started in as an electrician. Any tips, warning signs, things to look out for etc would be much appreciated.

1999 Ford Ranger 3.0 (Vin V) Not Heating Up & Heat Blows Warm?

The issue I'm having is the vehicle gets close to operating temperature, but not quite there, and it won't hold a temperature. Any time I drive slow or come to a stop, the temperature will drop down a bit, then rise again once I start driving. Also, the heat blow warm, then hot, then warm, then hot.

First thought I had was air in the system, since I recently repaired a hose connection with some faulty hose clamps. Bled the system, got a few bubbles, nothing crazy, still nothing.

Next, thought maybe a thermostat issue. Had put in a Stant brand thermostat a few months ago, (when having same issue), but nonetheless, decided worth a shot. Removed the Stant thermostat and purchased a Motorcraft thermostat, that should be OEM. Tested both in a pot of boiling water, both seem to work fine. Not stuck open, not stuck close, nothing.

Put Motorcraft thermostat in for just cause, re-bled system (a lot of air this time), and still no luck.

As I just mentioned, I did have this problem a while ago, and the thermostat didn't fix it then (but always worth a shot), it ended up being the temperature sending unit. I can't remember if it affected my heat or not. I just remember the gauge acting wonky like it is now.

Do you think it could be another temp sending unit? Or another possible issue? I wouldn't imagine the temp sending unit affecting my heat, and I would like to think it would send a CEL (even though it didn't last time either.)

What could be the cause of my car taking longer than normal to start occasionally?

I have a 2007 ford ranger with 38k miles on it. I recently bought it used a year ago and therefore don't know what has or hasn't been replaced on it. Occasionally for the past 3 months or so maybe once a week or once every other week it takes longer than normal to start. I have to hold the key back for 5 to 6 seconds instead of the normal 2 -3 seconds. After this time it works fine and normally won't happen for another week or two.Battery is fairly new only 1yr and a half old. What could be the cause of this? Is it a concern? I'm due for inspection in may is it ok to wait till then to get it fixed?
