What is this switch? 1983 ford ranger?

I have a 1983 ford ranger I picked up recently. I took the bench seat out to replace it and there was a interesting switch that led to a valve under the car, I didn't look at it very thoroughly but it looked as if it went to the fuel lines, I do not know what this switch does. I twisted it and it turns 360 degrees but every 90 degrees it clicks, can someone please help? I do not have the truck at the moment and it doesn't run at the time so I can't test anything at this point in time.

95 Ford Ranger Electrical Problem

Every so often, sometimes months apart, only when driving the complete electrical system shuts off for a fraction of a second then it turn back on. We have checked everything we know of. Any ideas of what may be causing this?

Are old trucks still good for long distance trips?

I need something inexpensive to tow my car(5000lb trailer) across a few states and back, once or maybe twice, every year.

I found a 2001 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0 V6, and a 2002 F150 5.4 V8, both low 100k miles.

Would these, or smilar trucks(15 year old with roughly 100k miles) still be good enough where they won't leave me stranded in the middle of nowhere?

The thing is, I just want a truck where I can replace all of the wear items, do maintenance, and drive. Though I'm not sure if something this old is going to be that way, hence I may scratch the whole idea and just sell my old boxster to buy something newer like a corolla. I do understand that maintenance is key, and I'm usually on top of that. But as far as age, I just don't want to end up doing maintenance non stop.

I'm ready to drive this truck off a bridge?

I have a 2003 Ford Ranger and I recently have installed new shocks, tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar bushings and wheel bearings and this truck is STILL hitting every crack in the road as if it was a curb. It feels like it just slams into these cracks and feels like there's no shocks under this truck. I'm afraid that this is eventually going to do damage to all these new parts that was installed. I'm just lost on what to replace next. Any ideas?

He bought a new battery now nothing works except headlights and theft light blinking slow. Could anything else cause this like a starter. Try battery conections and grounds seem to be fine

Do you think this 2002 Honda Civic is worth fixing up?

I just came across this used 02 Honda Civic with a blown engine on Craigslist and wanted some opinions. My brother is a mechanic and could do an engine swap in a weekend which is why this one caught my eye in the first place.

The two doors on the driver's side don't seem to match so I'm guessing the back door as been replaced or repainted, but I could be wrong. So what do you guys think? Is it worth the $1,500 or so to fix it up? This would become my daily driver btw as my current Ford Ranger pick-up gets maybe 14-18 MPG. I'd really appreciate any feedback.
