I'm 16 and a friend has a 1995 Ford F150 XLT for sale. It's an extended cab with the 5.0L V8 and 4X4. The body is a little rusty and the current owner said that the frame may be bent. The truck also has 2 fuel tanks. Should I buy it or look for a different one.
Because today was the first time this happened to me. I was driving my car but I had a Ford F150 right behind me. I didn't know what to do.
Either stop and get hit or keep going.
So I kept going and the truck took the red light behind me.
So i own a 1985 ford f150 stepside and i freakin love this thing its my first truck bought it myself and frankly the stepside is just sexy. But she's a piece of work! Which is fine. But i was wondering if anyone on here could throw me a price range on making it 4wd, i already need to replace transmission shocks and the rear axel and brakes so yeah! I know its possible and difficult and that a new truck would be more wise but i just wanna know a price range! Any help?
I have a 2000 F150 4x4 off-road the door tag says H9 and it's 9.75 the tag on the diff reads as follows, the top numbers are 3 S 919 F the bottom says 3L55 9 75 OD13. What do these numbers mean and what rear ends will fit as mine is 4x4 the ford dealer jut quoted me $2000 for a rebuild that's insane so I'm going to a junk yard to find my fix if you can also help me wih what each of these numbers mean thanks.
I'm looking for a cheap shoddy car for under 300 I don't care about reliability or quality. I'm going to only pay a percent above scrap value, my parents bought me a new Ford F150 and I work an hour away from where I live and with school and running by business and my part time job all my money goes to gas! And before someone says "sell your truck" well #1 it's in my parents name and #2 I like it too much #3 I need it. Where should I look for a car like that? I'm going to some auto auctions Friday. Should I try there or some private party sellers?
I have a 2000 Ford F-150 4X4 and the door axle code says H9 I believe its the 3.55 but is it the 9.75 or the 8.8 rear end the tags are all gone on it so I can't tell. It has 12 bolts on the rear cover as well any help would be grateful thanks. I'm attempting to replace my rear clutch disc pack as my truck grinds when I turn at low speeds, but it makes absolutely no noise when going straight down the road, if any one has had this problems please let me know what there fix or outcome was thanks.
2008 ford f-150 truck vibrates badly even worse on let off gas?
Alright so I got in an accident where this lady hit me on my front passenger door or my f150 and it was her fault so now her insurance company (AAA) is going to pay for my damages which is an entire new door. We brought it to a ford dealership to just get an estimate but the collision center there told us that the insurance company will just pay them directly. The damages are going to be around 3k but here's the thing I don't want them to pay the shop directly, I want to know how to have them give me the money so I can also spend it on modifications to my truck (lift, rims, tires, etc) and just get a new door from a junk yard for way less than the dealership would charge me. So how do I make them give me the money from the estimate without paying the shop directly?
P.S. I know that it's wrong to do this but really I should get the money I deserve for this accident and I should choose how I spend it weather it's on the door or not
