2007 ford f150 with 160 thousand miles?

A local guy is selling his truck a 2007 ford f150 with 160 thousand miles on it, small v8 engine and has a restoration business with a fleet of trucks. This was one of those trucks. 1 owner no accidents report and clean carfax. He's asking 6 grand but said hex willing to negotiate price some. How do fords with high miles go? The truck runs well and looks well maintained and has regular service receipts and paperwork. Thoughts on buying this truck? Or save for a while and buy a newer one from a dealer

Does a vehicle have to be insured to sign the title over?

A buddy of mine has a Ford f150 thats in ok shape, but hasn't been started in a few years. He's pretty much willing to give me the truck for nothing. The truck is definetely in realistic condition to fix up, and will definetely be worth it, but I don't have much time and the project will take me awhile. I obviously want to sign the title of the truck to my name, but I believe you need insurance and I don't want to insure a truck that won't be on the road for a year. I live in Pennsylvania by the way, does anyone know if I need insurance for this truck to buy it? I have insurance for my car, but obviously not this truck

I recently got a in a bad rear end in my 2000 ford f150 triton v8 and everything is fine but it's salvaged and i was wondering, since I'm putting in the motor and transmission, can I put the front and rear axle from my 2000 ford f150 into my 1963 ford f100? It would be really cool and unique if I could

Ford f150 or chevy silverado better truck reliable etc?

I'm looking at the new ford f150 and hecy silverado 1500 possibly a toyota truck

I'm looking at reliability as a very important factor. Won't break down much or have problems and be in the shop a lot. Or having I out out a lot of money to fix all the time.

I do regular maintenance oil changes etc as needed and take care of my vehicles.

So ford f150 st. Or xlt with either the 3.7 v6 or small v8 engine

Or the chevy silverado lt with small v8

I will be towing a small pop up trailer at times and doing things like throwing firewood mulch rtc in the bed of the truck and a daily driver

So with is better reliability and all around better truck? Ford or chevy

Why don't my blinkers work when my engine is running?

I have an 88 f150 and my blinkers won't work when my engine is running. They work when the key is turned but the engine is off but they won't work with my engine running. Why is that?

(it's not because it's a Ford either)

Ford f150 or chevy silverado?

I'm looking for a truck with good reliability safety and comfort and better fuel economy

With regular maintenance and I do take care of my vehicle. So I want a truck that with proper care, won't break down or be in the shop often.
I heard fords have bad transmissions and are always breaking down but I hear good things also, same with Chevys fuel pumps etc
I know each brand truck has it's pros and cons etc

Gets decent gas milage for a truck 26 mpg city or better preffered

Comfy interior

Would be towing small trailer and occasional firewood and furniture in the bed

Of these trucks and the factors ( gas milage reliability and comfort) which is best to you and why?

I want a capable truck that can be comfy and safe for the family and daily driving as well as long lasting for many years and can tow from time to time
