Toyota trucks, ford f150, chevy silverado. Which one and why?

Toyota Tacoma sr5
Toyota tundra sr5
Ford f150 sxt
Chevy silverado lt

All 4 door cabs

Looking at reliability, comfort and fuel economy

With regular routine maintenance oil changes etc and care of the vehicle won't break down or have problems

Gets decent gas milage for a truck 26 mpg city or better preffered

Comfy interior

Would be towing small trailer and occasional firewood and furniture in the bed

Of these trucks and the factors ( gas milage reliability and comfort) which is best to you and why?

I want a capable truck that can be comfy and safe for the family and daily driving as well as long lasting for many years and can tow from time to time

None will get 26 mpg city or anywhere close. All are good trucks. Not buying a Ford truck because a gas tank fell out on a Ford car 30 years ago, with no other detail is stupid. The only thing they have in common is the blue oval. I have driven a Chevy for 15 years, got 250,000 miles and have only had an 85 dollar alternator fail. I'm pleased. But I'm sure that I could be happy with any of these trucks. Buy the one you like best, take care of it, but don't expect great mileage. FYI, of these the Tacoma should get the best mileage, the Tundra the worst. I find the ride and room of the little Toyota lacking, but they are good trucks.

Difficult choice, but i prefer choice Toyota Tacoma or Tundra.

The Ram 1500 gets better mileage than any pickup ever sold in the USA, says Chrysler. It has available air suspension. I would choose a Ram, and i have always been a GM guy. You will EASILY get 26 MPG
