What rearend will work in my 2000 F150?

I have a 2000 F150 4x4 off-road the door tag says H9 and it's 9.75 the tag on the diff reads as follows, the top numbers are 3 S 919 F the bottom says 3L55 9 75 OD13. What do these numbers mean and what rear ends will fit as mine is 4x4 the ford dealer jut quoted me $2000 for a rebuild that's insane so I'm going to a junk yard to find my fix if you can also help me wih what each of these numbers mean thanks.

That would be a 9.75" (12 bolt) rear end. It would have a 3.55:1 limited slip differential in it. I'm not sure what years work on a Ford. Any 1/2 ton with the same body style should work. The junk yard will be able to tell you which years will work. Just make sure that it has a 3.55:1 ratio, and limited slip would be a good thing.

Remember when pulling a rear axle from a junk yard… The gear ratio must be the same as your front axle. Otherwise you will put excess strain on the transfer case and have problems with binding and you may even break universal joints.
