Will a 1993 ford f150 tachometer work in a 1996 ford f150?
I have a 1996 ford f150 xl v8 automatic without a tachometer. I bought a 1993 instrument cluster with a tachometer. Will it be plug and play in my truck?
Worked fine in mine. If you want to keep the same mileage (I did), you'll want to swap the speedometer over to the other instrument cluster. It's pretty simple.
So i can take the tach for the 1993 instrument cluster and put it into my 1996 instrument cluster?
Seems like it will work…
- Will a 1993 3.0 Ford Ranger engine fit and work with my 1995 Ford ranger that has a bad motor? My 1995 ford ranger 3.0 5 speed ran hot and cracked the heads and spun a bearing. Will a 3.0 out of a 1993 Ford Ranger fit and work? My concerns are the 1993 has a distributor and my 1995 does not. Are the water pumps and accessories the same?
- 1996 ford ranger 2.3 liter i did a cylinder head swap to a 1993 mustang 2.3 now timing is off what can i do? Blown head gasket on my 1996 2.3 ford lima engine I was not able to gind a head so I found a head that was for a 1993 mustand 2.3 whit low milage and installed and now my timing is off.
- My fuel gage in my 1996 ford thunderbird don't work? My ford thunderbird gas gage is all the way past full and does not move any susgetions on how i can fix the gas gage
- Is my tachometer too high? So recently I have been noticing that it takes a higher tachometer reading for my car to drive. I just got the fuel injectors cleaned/replaced at sears autocenter, and the acceleration seems better. However, my car takes about 2900 rpms to drive 65-75 on the highway, and that just seems too high, at least higher than it was. Is this an issue? How much does it affect fuel consumption? How do I go about fixing this issue? For reference, I drive a 2005 Ford Focus with 49,000 miles on it.
