2008 ford f-150 truck vibrates badly even worse on let off gas?
Most common causes of vibrations are wheels out of balance, defective or damaged tire, bad U-joint, failed motor mounts or faulty suspension parts. With the fact that it gets worse when you let off the gas I'd suspect the problem lies with the wheels or tires. F150s are very durable trucks… But we don't know the mileage on yours. That factor could eliminate several possibilities.
- Entire car loses power when we floor the gas. Gauges reset until we let off gas. (still drives) 02 ford mustang. The car loses power to everything. (Except what's needed for the vehichle to stay running.) Can still drive it. What are possible problems? (AC does not affect anything )
- I have a 2013 Ford Fusion, I just purchased warranty replacement tires on the car in December. The car is worse in the rain now than before? The tires only have 3,000-4,000 miles, but they are hydroplaning worse that the previous bald tires. They are not off brand tires, but Michelin's. Would like to know if there's anything that can be done.
- Car vibrates when I come to a complete stop? I drive a 2001 Ford Focus and my parents bought the car for me in March of this year and it ran smooth and everything until about a month ago, maybe two months. Now whenever I come to a complete stop, it vibrates. It doesn't do it at all when I'm driving, only when the car is completely stopped. Does anybody know what could be wrong with it? I really don't have money to take it to a mechanic right now and don't want to have my parents pay for me to take it to a mechanic.
- Will a leveling kit made for a 2009 F-150 fit on a 2008 F-150? I'm trying to buy a leveling kit off of a friend but he has a 2009 F-150. I have a 2008 Limited F-150.Was curious to know if Ford still kept the same spring and shock design from 2008/2009.
