How much time did I have to beat a red light camera if its still in yellow?

Because today was the first time this happened to me. I was driving my car but I had a Ford F150 right behind me. I didn't know what to do.
Either stop and get hit or keep going.
So I kept going and the truck took the red light behind me.

The cameras are usually set to go two seconds after it turns red, so they know you have actually gone through a red light. The flash is really bright, you would see it even in daylight.

Well who's to say he wasn't going to stop behind you? If you're about to pass the white line and it turns yellow, keep going. If you have enough time to stop, then stop. It's up to the drivers behind you to pay attention and stop if you're stopping.

So what's the problem? And you know here was a camera there?
