Using Ford Escape 2008 Winter tires for RAV4 2010?

Sold my Ford Escape, 2008 Still got the Winter tires on steel rims, these are OEM Ford Escape;

Tire Size; 235/70R16
Rims: 7X16 ET45
Bolt Pattern: 5 X114.5

Can i use those on my 2010 Base RAV4… OEM recommendation;

Tire Size; 225/65R17
Rims: 7X17 ET45
Bolt Pattern: 5 X114.5

The online calculator says, the wheel is 6mm closer to body & sticking out. 60 mph will actually be 60.9 mph… I don't mind. Is there any other reason why i shouldn't do that?

Any way to make this car flashier?

This is my current vehicle: http://m.web2carz.com/used/detail.php?vehicleId=106057119&w2caf=8be436a6a4e0a591
a 2006 Ford Escape Limited in black. I have an appointment to have my windows tinted and headlights restored next week. I regularly keep it washed and waxed. In addition, I also have tasteful aftermarket running boards that are silver with black step accents. Are there any additions you believe could make this car stand out just a little more and not blend in so much?

I'm having an engine whine noise through my door speakers and can't figure it out?

I have a 07 ford escape with yellow top optima battery. I have a kenwood headunit. I have 2 12inch kickers with hooked up to a vm audio 1500 watt amp. I have 2 15inch bostons hooked up to a 750 watt rocksford amp. I have 6 rocksford 6x9s and 2 11x8s. I have two power wires. I also have 2 distrubitor blocks going to two different capactiors. I also have a lanzar 2000 watt amp with my door speakers hooked up to it. I can't figure out what's going with this engine noise through my door speakers. When the car is on accerssory it makes no noise. When the car is on the on no start postion it makes a static hum when the car is started it hums and has an alternator whine.
I've grounded the amp 3 different places and straight to the battery and made no difference. I unhook my rcas and it makes no difference. I have 3 rca outputs. Subs rear and front. And only the door speakers make the noise. My power wire is on the other side of the car from my audio cables and my speaker wires.
Does anyone else have any ideas of what it could be?

My car is constantly having mechanical issues. What can I do?

I bought a car in June of 2013 - 2013 Ford Escape. I have had it in the shop multiple times for random issues and recalls. I have had to take time off work to bring it in and have to bring it in yet again for even more issues (just picked it up 5 days ago). I have a warranty so it is all free but I'm tired of the constant issues with this car. It is financed though. Is there any way for me to get rid of this car through the Ford dealership I purchased it from? Should i even bother contacting Ford to express my complaints? What can be done? I just want out of this car!

2001 ford escape? Good car? - 1

I'm 18/F, looking for a first car for myself. The history of cars I've driven include a 2000 Chevy Cavalier, a 2001Volvo s70, and a Hyundai Santa Fe from the early 2000s. I found a 2001 Ford Escape XLS that looks in good shape. It has 167,340 miles on it and the dealer is asking $4,700. It needs new rotors and one of the gaskets is out, but the dealer said he would have all of that fixed before it is bought. Are the earlier Ford Escapes good cars? Does it handle well? Does it have a lot of problems/ is it expensive to repair? What is a good price for this car?

Added (1). I have stated it is an XLS. It is a 2wd though

I have actually been driving for 4 years and none of those 3 cars are mine, they are family members' that I drove since I didn't have a car. We have all of them still except for the Cavalier which was involved in an accident, not due to me, but to a distracted 17 year old male high school student.

08 Ford Escape not showing that I put in gas?

I didn't have the truck turned on where the engine was on but I did have it on enough so that I could listen to the radio that was on. And now when I turned the truck on it doesn't reflect that I put any gas in yet?

Added (1). I read online that leaving the radio on delays the reading of the gas tank. Does anyone know that from experience?

Why are my brake lights turning on randomly?

Going camping and need food ideas that require no refrigeration and no camping stove?

We will have very little refrigeration i'm sharing a very small cooler between me and my boyfriend and we don't own a camping stove of any kind all we will have to cook is the fire pit and a grate. The main issue is space going to and from the campsite because I have to fit 4 people and all their camping gear in my ford escape (small SUV).
