2014 Ford Escape's RPMs keeping jumping between 35-45mph?

I have a 2014 Ford Escape 2.0L that when I accelerate between 35-45mph, the RPMs jump and the car shakes. Before or after those speeds it's fine. Would a transmission fluid exchange help with this? Car is at 73k miles. Purchased at 31k miles. Have not gotten a tranny fluid exchange yet.

How fast does a car have to travel, to spin if hit?

I recently was in a car accident. My side of the story: I stopped at a stop sign traveling west and proceeded into the intersection. I estimate that I could only have been traveling between 5-7 miles an hour.
I made it about 1/2 of the way into the intersection when the other vehicle, traveling south sped through. I never say the vehicle. I hit the back 1/4 panel of his vehicle causing it to do a 180 spin and stop. There were no skid marks from either vehicle. My vehicle was a 2013 Ford Escape, his was a 2013 Dodge Avenger. My vehicle was totaled, he had less than $7,000 damage to his back end. My question is, how fast was he traveling to spin like he did? I have an idea from watching 3 other cars whiz by but I could use some 'expert' opinion.

What to upgrade on Ford Escape?

Probably a silly question, but what can I do to my 2012 ford escape xls manual to get better performance for light off road. Just moved to Colorado and looking to do a lot of camping and just adventuring around in mountains on light trails. Was thinking of buying a cheap 4x4 but probably not going to afford two cars till my wife starts working and get some debt paid off. Would it be a good idea to upgrade ignition coils, turbo charger, cold air intake? Anything to know would help and some cost associated.

2010 Ford Escape headlights turning on in middle of night?

My 2010 Ford Escape will randomly turn its headlights on in the middle of the night. I usually keep my headlights on automatic, I haven't really tried turning them completely off before exiting the car and seeing if that works. Either way, if the car is off the lights should not be turning on. Does anyone know why this could be? Would hate to wake up and my car be dead…

Trading in a car I owe on?

I'm paying on a 2017 ford escape, in december it will be a year of me having it. I want to trade it in for a sedan, I drive a lot so something better on gas is ideal. What are some tips? Should i wait until i've paid it off atleast a year to trade it in? I owe just under 22,000 on it, should i wait to bring the loan down a little bit? I don't really understand this process so any tips will help! My car is worth about 13k now, should i aim to buy a car around that price?

My dad wants to give me his old car that is a little bit newer then mine?

I currently drive a 1996 toyota corolla. And it runs pretty good but it is starting to rust. My dad want to give me his 2005 ford escape because he wants to get the new mazda cx5 or toyota rav4. Should i still keep the corolla for know or take the ford escape? To be honest i'm not really into suv's and i have driven both and the corolla handles better. What do you think i should do?

Added (1). Yes the escape has slightly lower mileage. It has 103k while my corolla is at 128k. But i don't really drive alot i maybe put 2000 miles on it every year.
