What should I get for my first car?

I'm getting my license soon and I don't know what kind of car to get. My dad said he wants me to get something under $10,000 and he was thinking a Ford escape or something along the lines of that

Financing new care mid-loan?

So I just bought/financed a used 2013 ford escape and put a 16k loan in for it, which is no problem. My issue is that it didn't come with any of the features I had been hoping for; in-dash nav, rear park camera, park assist, all the fun stuff.

I made the mistake of assuming that because it was the titanium, that is came with all of that stuff. I singed all the papers and now I wish I would have checked it out more.

My question is this; if I were to contact a few dealers to find exactly what I want, would I be able to take on the few extra thousand dollars onto the loan and switch out the cars after signing a million more papers? Just want what I was seeking in the first place.

02 ford stalls First thing in the morning?

I have a 02 ford escape (3.0) Its been running fine. Oil just changed and the past year I have been putting Lucas fuel cleaner in at fill ups. In the morning I start my truck and the first time it always stalls. After that it runs fine all day. What's up? No codes. (an 02 not sure if it even has codes for this) Any ideas where to start? It is a strong running truck. It just hit 130k.

2007 Pontiac G5 or 2005 Ford Escape?

I have to choose between two cars, a grey 2007 pontiac G5 (car) or a 2005 Ford Escape (SUV).

Ford Escape: breaks will need to be replaced and it has higher milage. It is estimated to last about two more years.

Pontiac: being recalled due to a problem with ignition. It has no air conditioning and no electric locks. I'm just graduating as a social worker and may need to drive clients or do a lot of travelling in the car. Has randomly stopped before and left the owner stranded. It is thought that this has to do with the problem that the car is being recalled for. It did not happen again. The key gets stuck in the ignition as well, and you have to push a button under the steering wheel to get the key out.

Which would you choose?

I have a 2008 Ford Escape, A new transmission was installed 8/2012?

I was at stopped at a red light and when it turned green and I accelerated the car did not move forward. It did not feel as it was stuck on first gear, it was more of a powerless feeling to it. I got it into a shopping center by putting the vehicle in reverse. It had no trouble backing up. What do you think is the problem? Can it be the transmission again? In the past, when the transmission had to be change completely the car was kind of stuck on 1st gear. This is totally different, it is as if it had no force to move forward. I still have the warranty from when the transmission was changed, it has been 30,000 since the new transmission was installed. Please help me. The car now has to be towed and I don't know if to get it towed by the transmission people or to my mechanic. Can it be something not related to the transmission?

Could this be bad front sway bar links?

Okay, so I have a 2001 Ford Escape (xlt, v6). The noise sounds like it is coming from the front right tire on the passenger side, but I'm not 100% sure. It does it sometimes, and has been doing it now for about 3 weeks. Just off and on and as we get driving down the road it'll start. To me, it sounds like a rubbing/scraping sound, but to my mom, it sounds like a knocking/bumping. She thinks maybe a bolt's come off the tire or we need a new hubcap? Something like that. Before taking it to a tire place, we were just curious to see if we could get any ideas of what it might be before we spend a bunch of money or get ripped off by them telling us we need all this and that when really we might not. It only does it sometimes in the videos, at the parts I've listed, so you don't have to watch the entire thing. And that is my camera doing the flashing noise-Idk why it's doing that (SORRY).
! Make sure volume is up loud so you can hear!

1st video (1:04, 1:54, 2:01,4:51, 5:02, and 1:39 are where you can hear the noise; 1:39 is best)

2nd video (1:52-1:54)

3rd video (2:48-2:49)

*****just wanted to say to the people who don't feel like looking through all of that, 1:39 on the first video is pretty loud and probably the best quality. Like I said it does it just off and on driving.

What's a good small SUV for tall driver?

I'm considering a small SUV and need something with leg and foot room. Being 6'3" tall with size 15 feet these are real issues. I have modified seat mounts to get needed leg room but I can't do much to gain room formy big feet, especially when wearing winter boots. I have driven a Toyota RAV-4 and the driver's ergonomics were too tight for me. Would a Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, Nissan Xterra be a better choice? Maybe something from another manufacturer? Chrysler minivans have served my purposes quite well but something with more ground clearance would be better. My needs include comfort, fuel economy, traction in snow and mud, clearance, cargo space and able to tow a lightweight boat or snowmobile trailer.
