My car is constantly having mechanical issues. What can I do?

I bought a car in June of 2013 - 2013 Ford Escape. I have had it in the shop multiple times for random issues and recalls. I have had to take time off work to bring it in and have to bring it in yet again for even more issues (just picked it up 5 days ago). I have a warranty so it is all free but I'm tired of the constant issues with this car. It is financed though. Is there any way for me to get rid of this car through the Ford dealership I purchased it from? Should i even bother contacting Ford to express my complaints? What can be done? I just want out of this car!

Lemon Law won't work because its past 12 months after purchase.

That's what the lemon law is for. Each state is slightly different so you'd have to research it specific to your state. You have rights, don't let them roll you over.

YEAH cal the FORD consumer relations dept and pitch your point! They shoudl PROVIDE you with FREE OANERS til they get al issues out! They are RESPNSIBLE at least and are NOT covering things up! I LIKE that p[art of FORD! If you have paid NOPTHING< that is to your benefit, as there are THOUSANDS of parts in every car including NOW more CMOPUT$ERS than ever! IT is AMAZING that ANY CAR works as well as it does when so many thigns can be FAULTY or shabbily made! It also takes TIME for data bases to get made and for faults to show up on ANY car! TOYOTA amazes me as they seem to have the fewest recalls and the HIGHEST consumer ratings for DECADES< and most people agree that they have NO complaints for 200k mile sand more! ANYWAYS< the complexity of CARS increases every year with GPS, TIRE MONITORS and All kinds of new technologies every day! Check out a new 5s ANDROID PHONE! IF you are THAT unhappy with the car, FORD will accommodate you with a NEWER ONE or compensate you in some other way! I had a CLIENT with failing anti-\theft system in his near new JEEP COMMANDER! It was NOT reliable and went to hone base FIVE TIMES that he was abandoned and had to call tow trucks! They eventually gave him $5k back, and increased his warranty by five years! There's the LEMON LAW that states if you have the same issue THREE TIMES< then you have the CHOICE of a FREE REPLACEMENTS or REFUND! Check out LEMON LAW websites. This car is so very new, and you CAN get a REFUND if you insist, or another vehicle! It is YOUR PROTECTION by law!

They aren't taking the car back.
