Ford Escape - too much oil?

The dealer put one and a half quarts too much oil in my Ford Escape. I drove it about three hundred miles before I could get it back to them. I only noticed we had too much oil in it when it started blowing blue smoke out the tailpipe. The smoke was as big as the car itself. How much damage can this cause overall? They said the turbo was leaking however after draining it has not leaked since.

thank you

Added (1). It isn't that I didn't take immediate action. #1 dealership is 50 miles from home so that is 100 right there #2 the other days was a weekend with graduation involved. Believe me I would have gotten it up there even sooner if at all possible. Instead of being so critical, understand circumstances arise! Thanks for what your owners manual says however I'm hoping a mechanic who has seen this can help also.

2005 Ford Escape brake indicator accompanied by a sound. What is wrong?

I have a 2005 Ford Escape and when I get in the car. I turn it on and the sound to put my seatbelt comes on then it turns off and when I begin to drive it starts again. The same sound. The brake light indicator is also on. I know the sound has to do with the brakes because when I come to a stop light or something then the sound stops or if I'm driving for more than 20 minutes then it'll stop. It will literally make that ding, ding, ding sound over and over for 20 minutes. I have no idea what it is! The brake fluid is fine so it's not that.

My cars motor already broke down 6months into buying it. Not even half way done paying it?

I'm a college student who is super tight for money. But I live in Co so I knew I had to buy a good car for the snow. So I bought a 2004 Ford Escape. I used it rarely, just to drive to school which is about 10min away. Or to see my parents which live 30min away. I took good care of it with oil changes and all of the basic maintenance since my brother & father are both mechanics. They inspected the car before we bought it & it all seemed swell. I was driving to my apt, one day and it just completely stopped. I took it to the dealership where I got it and they said I need a new motor… Which is ridiculous to me… Because they said they can't do anything at all to help… Is this seriously my situation? Like there's nothing I can do about this? Other than May for it myself somehow?! I appreciate your comments.

Sizzling from my Radiator?

A few days ago I asked a question regarding my coolant disappearing too fast and most people said that I blew a gasket. Fortunately for me, t wasn't the gasket! What happened was the clamp thing that was holding my radiator hose broke and it was being pinched not allowing any coolant to flow causing the coolant to over flow on my reservoir. Now I was just driving and everything was fine the temperature gauge seemed to be fine and when I parked and turned it off, there was a sizzling noise coming from the radiator. I let it cool then I put some coolant in and when I started driving again I watched the temperature gauge go towards the hot zone. But it was weird, because it went from being hot then it dropped back down. Could it be the same problem? Or could it be a bad hose or something? I doubt it's a gasket. It made the sizzling noise again when I parked and stopped after a few minutes. I drive a 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6 2WD and it has 206,963 miles on it. It's on It's last life, I know. It also has an oil leak that the mechanic wants 1500 to fix it.

Ford Raptor grill for an 08 Escape?

I saw some pictures online of an escape with a raptor grill and in my opinion it looks awesome. Where could I get a raptor grill? To fit my escape? Please no criticism.

How much to fix a car window?

I went somewhere with my friends, and one of my friends had their window down. When we stopped she was like "I forgot to put my window up" so I restarted the car and flipped the window switch. Nothing happened. Low on resources we decide to go back home to get duct tape and pull the window up as far as it'll go and tape it there (the window just drops otherwise)
It was a sudden and strange thing to happen! My car never had this kind of problem before!
My car is a 2004 Ford Escape

Should I buy a 2005 Fors Escape?

My husband and I are looking to buy a small SUV type vehicle because we have 2 big dogs and we're currently sharing a 2014 Toyota corolla. Time for a second car.

We found a 2005 Ford Escape Limited for 7500$. It has all leather seat, sunroof, roof rack (all the goodies) is a nice color. The mileage is 102,709. I looked up the KBB and it is 6000-8500. The car has been well maintained has a clean title and great carfax. No wrecks, everything looks good. Looks like the car has never had any major problems but has had a few of the necessities replaced.

Do you think this would be a good reliable car? Please tell me your experience if you have a 2005 Ford Escape.

Can I fix a slightly bent car key?

Can I fix a slightly bent car key? - 1

Added (1). I have a 2001 Ford Escape - somehow my key was slightly bent, but it still works it's just a little more difficult and I have to kind of push it in a little harder and pull harder when I'm taking it out. Can I somehow bend it back in to shape myself so I don't have to spend a fortune buying a new one?
