Why did my car insurance payment double?

I had a Ford hybrid insured with USAA and my payment was $125 a month. I called to put my new car a Ford Escape onto my plan last month and I was told my rate would be going down $8 a month. But today I checked my due date for my July payment and the minimum payment has doubled! Why did this happen?

Added (1). I removed the insurance on my hybrid because I sold it and put my new car on policy.

Is a 2001Ford Escape's engine the same or at least similar to a 2002/2004 Ford Escape?

My car is overheating and I've changed my radiator, thermostat, and reservoir and now I'm down to the water pump. I found a video on YouTube for removing the water pump and I think it was on a 2004 Escape or an 02. But I drive a 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6 3.0L 2WD and I need to know if the engines are the same or at least similar. I need to know if the water pump is in the same place?

How to open my car radio? Display does not work?

A while ago, I noticed that the display in my 2008 Ford escape no longer functioned. The radio itself works just fine audiowiswe, but the display to tell us the time, temperature, station, etc, does not work. The photo attached is my car radio, while the car is on.

We're pretty sure that the problem is that the LED light is broken on the inside, but my question is how do we open the display? All Internet resources I've been trying to find do not help, I have been told that there's a nuts were supposed to listen but I can't find it on the car. We also can't find anything about it in the car manuals that we have for this model. Can anyone help me? I think I'm probably just being stupid about this, but I do not want to take any unnecessary risks How to open my car radio Display does not work

How to burp a radiator without a radiator cap?

Hi so I drive a 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6 2WD 3.0L and it's overheating. A couple of weeks ago my car started to overheat. I pulled over and it was sizzling and all that and when I got home I discovered my radiator was cracked. So I replaced it. I test drove it and it was still overheating. Yesterday I replaced the thermostat and test drove it. After about 6 minutes it warmed up and the gauge went to normal but soon after it went to the hot zone and was overheating. I pulled it into the garage and the only thing I could think of is the water pump until someone told me about there possibly being an air pocket in the cooling system. However, my radiator does NOT habe a cap… Only a reservoir. So before I go buying a new pump for $60 I want to try and see if an air pocket is causing the problem. So how do I do this when my car doesn't have a radiator cap?

I'm trying to name my car?

I know it seems odd that I want to name her but I need some suggestions, I'm drawing a blank. When I first got her she needed a lot of work done before I could drive her, a few months actually. Now she's a beast, drives fantastic. She is a silver ford escape xlt, with running boards, and a grill guard so people move out of my way when I'm on the road.
Any suggestions are better than none. Thanks I m trying to name my car - 1

2012 Escape. Driver side speakers not working after replacing stock speakers?

I replaced the stock speakers with some pioneer 5x8's from walmart. I checked to make sure they were working after replacing each speaker. With both front speakers and the rear passenger all four worked. After I changed the diver rear, both driver sides don't work. Is it a fuse? Not enough power? The stock speakers said 40w each on the front and 25w each on the rear. New speakers are 50w with 350w max. All were 4ohms.

Added (1). Also, the head unit is the stock system. Premium sound Ford Escape Limited w/ factory subwoofer.

Thermostat or a water pump?

Hi so I'm going to try and make this as clear and straight forward as possible. So my car started overheating and I didn't know why eventually it led to my radiator cracking. I just replaced the radiator yesterday and I test drove it to see if it's still overheating. It was fine driving around the neighborhood but that changed when I took it to the road. It went hot. I'm glad there weren't any old people to get in my way before it blew. I filled it with fresh coolant but when I got home I checked it and my reservoir was empty. My car doesn't have a radiator cap. I did notice before that when I would drive it would start to overheat but would settle down while I drove but would go back up when I stop at a red light or something. When I test drove it, it just went into the HOT but didn't go down while I was driving. It did the other day before I replaced the radiator. I drive a 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6 3.0L 2WD. So could this be a bad water pump or a bad thermostat? I would like to know before I just start buying stuff. There's a difference between the prices. I know you can't do as much without seeing it but my car can't go anywhere because of the overheating. What do you think?

Car is overheating? Could it be a bad thermostat?

So recently my car started overheating. I popped the hood and found a crack on my radiator. At the time (only a few days ago) I didn't have the money to replace it so I put some JB Weld on it. That didn't work. The pressure popped it right off. Anyways, I replaced the radiator today and put some new coolant in it and I took the car for a test drive only to see that the car started overheating again. I thought the worst and thought is was a blown gasket but my oil isn't milky but I think it might be a bad thermostat. What do you think? If you need to know, I drive a 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6 3.0L 2WD. I'm 17 and it's my first car and right now I can't afford to get a new one. I would really appreciate the help I can't afford $2000 for a mechanic either. If I had that money I'd go get a different car.
