I have a Ford Escape (2005) with a manual transmission. I'm new to driving a stick shift and for the heck of it I was wondering if it was possible to add hill assist to a car or if it was something that had to come with the car. Also, would it be costly?
How much does a standard oils change cost for a 2014 Ford Escape?
How to turn off oil alter on Ford Escape 2008?
Will it hurt to go over by 400 miles on an oil change for a 2004 ford escape?
We had a decent amount of snow and ice last week and my wiper somehow either bent or something and wasn't wiping the majority of the window. I tried bending it back a little bit to no avail. After more times of trying to wipe it with the car power, I gave up, dumped a decent amount of water on the window, and manually moved the wiper. Now, once it reaches anywhere past a straight vertical position (wiper swings from right to left), it just flops all the way down 180° and will not move from there. Is it a gear issue? Motor? I need it fixed as soon as possible because I had to drive blindly through another snow storm last night with no rear defroster. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Locked keys inside a 2001 ford escape?
I drive a 2001 Ford Escape. I took it to the car wash and was vacuuming it. My mom was with me and started flipping out and going "What happened to the luggage rack?!" Long story short, somehow, like the rack has came off and I have no clue where it went. I thought it may have came off in the car wash and ran and got a manager, but he looked, showed me the surveillance footage, and the rack was already gone before I entered the car wash. What the heck could have happened to it? Do you think it just flew off in the street? I'm in shock! Like, how can it just be gone? I hope it hasn't like flown off and hit anyone or anything.
You see how it has those bars on the top, well I also had like bars inside there to lay the luggage on. What do you think happened to it?
Ok, so earlier I asked a question about installing police lights in a car and if it's illegal. I had multiple responses saying yes it's illegal. However, someone did mention geting flashing lights that are different colors other than blue and red. I'm making my car a "Zombie Mobile". It is a 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6 and it has these:
-Red racing stripes
-train horn
-CB radio
-Zombie/biohazard decals and emblems
-pvc pipe (sprayed black) on the windows to look like bars
-black and yellow stripes on the bottom sides to look like the caution thing.
-Racing pedals
-New black mats
-Red/black steering wheel cover
-I sprayed LM-430 in military font on the sides by the emblem that says escape
-Zombie license plate cover
-Red adhesive wrap vinyl on the interior
-Zombie/biohazard seat covers
-Blood streaks and hands prints on the sides
-zombie/biohazard lights that light up on the ground when you open the doors
-I might get a hood scoop
-And I ordered a siren
Now, are the flashing neon green lights okay to have? Is it ok to combine them with another color like red? This is all for show and I would never use them on a public road. Is have green and red or just green flashing lights on the interior on the windshield okay to have? I wouldn't see why not considering they sell them to the public on Amazon and ebay and auto places.
There are two reasons for me wanting to do such a thing. First, is because 4/5 power windows have failed. The sun roof, the two back seat windows, the front passenger seat window and the driver's window sounds like it's ready to go soon too. I looked up how much it would cost just for a replacement part for a power window motor and it's $53.99 each. The second reason is because I'm transforming my vehicle into a Zombie Mobile and I'm doing just about everything to make it look the part and act the part and one of the things I want to do is convert the power windows tomanual windows. In general, I'd rather have manual ones anyways lol. If such a procedure is possible to do and doesn't require special tools how can I do this? Any ideas? Any websites you know of that have instructions or anything? If you need to know the vehicle I drive is a 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6. It's not the greatest car in the world but I'm a dumb 17yo that's going crazy with it lol.
