79 ford f250 460 wants to start but dies?

What it does is when you crank it over you can hear the engine for not even a second and it dies, like it doesn't want to stay on. When it dies it doesn't sputter or anything it just cranks you hear the engine for a sec and when you release the key it dies. Have any ideas any are appreciated

Ford f250 352ci 4-speed 4WD. Looking to change from 2bbl to 4bbl carb, advise?

Ford f250 352ci 4-speed 4WD. Looking to change from 2bbl to 4bbl carb, advise?

Added (1). Looking for advise on what carb to use. Obviously changing the intake. Brand? Style? Any advise in appreciated. It is a stock engine. Thanks

Added (2). Not looking to 'hot rod' anything. I'm not into that. This truck hauls my wood. I would get better mileage with a 4bbl. I know I would.

No electrical power. Nothing?

Its a 1979 Ford F250 460. Heres the scenario 2 days ago i parked it running great, now today I go to turn it over and nothing no headlights, hazards horn radio nothing. I cleaned the terminal just in case and a jumpstart from my brother but there's still no power, I've already changed the solenoid a week ago. Could an ignition switch just go out like that. I don't know do you have any ideas… Keep in mined its a 79 not a 2014 lol.

1987 ford f250 6.9 idi won't crank over?

On chilly morning truck started fine. Drove about 3 minutes shut it off. Then few minutes later it won't start no cranking or clicking. When attempting to start there's light water in fuel. Any ideas? Don't know anything about diesels

1990 Ford f-250, squealing when accelerating?

My dad has a 1990 Ford F-250 Lariat. When I drive it, I've noticed that when the gas pedal is depressed around 1/3 or 1/4 of the way, the truck makes a quiet squeal like noise. It's such a high noise that my dad can't hear it (he's in his 50's btw). Nothing really changes it, like revs, if it's actually accelerating, or anything. Just hoping it isn't something serious.

Nothing big on the truck has been changed. Recently we replaced the spark plugs and wires, and put on a new distributor cap and rotor (efi system though).
